If Blizz went console with D3 i think they would screw them selves look at what they have done on the pc ... blizz would ruin thier legacy if d3 went console
Didn't seem to ruin Starcraft.
Would it be a good strategy for Blizzard to release a console-only game and a PC-only game in the same year?
The console-exclusive one might not have the same sort of revenue that Blizzard is used to seeing. Based on history, Blizzard would most likely want to make sure their games are also available on the PC. They might get the same kind of success if they go multi-console, so that all sorts of gamers get the chance to play.
Whats this... were does Blizz say that they wont announce any of their coming games before WoW expansion is released?
Oh my god, you're stupid. It's common sense in business! They want all eyes of the expansion. How often do you forget to wear your helmet when going down the street?
Holy shit. This is big. There is a binary file on diablo3 on the Blizzard website.
What is an "application/octet-stream" MIME attachment, and how can I see it?
A MIME attachment with the content type "application/octet-stream" is a binary file. Typically, it will be an application or a document that must be opened in an application, such as a spreadsheet or word processor. If the attachment has a filename extension associated with it, you may be able to tell what kind of file it is. A .exe extension, for example, indicates it is a Windows or DOS program (executable), while a file ending in .doc is probably meant to be opened in Microsoft Word.
No matter what kind of file it is, an application/octet-stream attachment is rarely viewable in an email, Usenet, or World Wide Web program. If you are using a text-based client, such as Pine, trn, or Lynx, save the attachment to your account, then transfer it to your personal computer. If you are using a workstation-based client, such as Eudora or Outlook, the application should be able to extract and download the attachment automatically. You must then open the attachment in the appropriate application to view its contents. Note: In addition to the generic application/octet-stream content type, you will also encounter attachments that have different sub-types (e.g., application/postscript, application/x-macbinary, and application-msword). They are similar to application/octet-stream, but apply to specific kinds of files.
When I went to www.blizzard.com/diablo3 I was prompted with an option to download a file on diablo3, that was an octet-stream. This means that they are developing something on it. I'm going to look into finding out what the code contains, to see what it has.
I rather hate the system then hate the people who are put in a position to feed there rpg addictions with the latest releases.
Warcraft back when I was learning all about the wonders of the computer was a real time strategy both warcraft and wc2 were great games for there times and when this came out its like taking the past and destroying all the good memories of blood lusted orgres trampling the garden of war.
Why you ask?
Because they took element of rts and surgically cut off my orgres nads. Why? To make a profit.
Do I blame them? From a profit stand point, no I dont. And honestly thats what it comes down to.
Still hate it though.
I'm a bit unclear on your stance. You're saying that you don't like that Warcraft took the MMORPG route? In that case, I'd have to tell you, that Blizzard can still make a WC4 and continue the WoW game too. The great thing about the series is that it's not isolated, and the plot can continue for as long as they want it to.
Yeah, i hope theyre using that money for the greater good, instead of spending it on mansions and playmates lol
Hey, whose to say that spending the money on mansions and sexy women isn't for the greater good? I'd do it

whats wrong with the second one??
The second Diablo? It's old, and people want a new Diablo with a fresh plot.
You're just hating on a successful game. Don't hate the game, hate the players who support it! In which case, you and I have some hostile friction. But then again, I guess I would not be considered too highly since about at least 60% of the people on this forum love to drop the phrase, "lol wow suckzz!111"
They'll want to meet the Christmas deadline, since that would boost their sales, so I think they're trying their best to finish it fast, to prevent delays.
The "start" for a game can't be noted until there's a known "game". And to answer your second question, I have another question. I don't know. Who told you?
Is the Burning Crusade set to be released November-December? Or earlier? I don't have a clue about anything WoW.
There's been a lot of this stuff popping up. But as likely as it sounds, there is always the slight chance that it isn't in the making and they're making some sort of side-project. But I like to believe it's Diablo 3

I'll answer your quote with another quote:
Web design does not require game design experience. It requires knowledge in web design languages.
