The best news here is the 3D emphasis, but did we really have any doubts? I have yet to hear a thought provoking reason as to why Diablo3 shouldn't be made, or 3D. Diablo II was not bona fide 2D. There was a slight third dimension with a graphics setting that emphasized it (not on by default). I know it was not much, but it was still there. Let us not mistake a fixed bird's eye view perspective for 2D.

I have yet to hear a thought provoking reason as to why Diablo3 shouldn't be made, or 3D. Diablo II was not bona fide 2D. There was a slight third dimension with a graphics setting that emphasized it (not on by default). I know it was not much, but it was still there.
Let us not mistake a fixed bird's eye view perspective for 2D.
