Uh, well Carlos all i can say is i think sometimes you take things here too seriously, genesis was very right when he said the actual purpose of this clan doesnt kick in until diablo3 comes out, and it hasnt even been announced yet. This a is a forum with people you do not know, and as you come to know them some of them become friends. But it shouldnt be a place where you come to find refuge ALL the time. Its not healthy. And if it gets to the point where a FORUM is making you unhappy enough to affect your real life, you know you got too emotionally involved in it. All i can say is try investing some of the emotion in parts of your real life. Stop taking things here so seriously. Dark times etc etc for slayers...in the end its just a group of people who share a common interest in several games and would like others to play with.
Chillax. And to take some of your advice and quote eminem:
If you tell us what you're looking for in a legion, we can tell you which legion will suit you best.
Hes right. Do you want active d2 players? Active wow players? Active forum posters? All of the above? What kind of leader do you want? I suggest you read what each legion stands for and check out there opening posts.
Yes, and that was no fault of mine. If you have problems I've always urged you to let me know.
I'm saying you didn't stick to your guns. You left your posts here and went somewhere else. And I didn't change, Ask Winston or Stormcat. I was going through some heavy shit which probably attributed to it. But I'm the same person as ever before.
All things change, but it wasn't really as different as it was in the beginning. In its core its very much the same as ever.
If you want me to put it in a way you will understand, you were the reason we left slayers, only you didnt know that until it was too late.
You didnt change? And then you say all things change? You did change carlos. Maybe not as a person, as a leader though. A small change in 1 thing can exact a large change in another. In this case, you making a change forced us to make our own.
"I was going through some heavy shit which probably attributed to it."
OK, now ill use your previous statement against you.
"How am I supposed to know what the hell's going on in your head?"
Also, ill ask you nicely to please stop calling us unloyal. Just because we were no longer loyal to you, does not mean we were no longer loyal to sick. Had we forsaken our loyalties with sick then SENTINELS would not exist.
Yea, well who's fault was that? How am I supposed to know what the hell's going on in your heads? I thought things were fine until the WoW stuff came up.
And yes, I'm part of the equation. But when I say I'll stick with someone through thick and thin, I actually do it.
You always thought things were fine because we never said anything or acted upon our feelings. Its just unfortunate for you that it all caught up on us all at once and all the built up stuff exploded...and we decided to act.
Are you suggesting that myself and those that decided to leave slayers dont stick to their guns? Because we always intended to be true to you, but people change and so did you.
What we commited to and who we commited to in the beggining was not what we left in the end.
Which is why they shouldn't be allowed. Mercs are strictly PvM.
That was my point.
As for mana, you are not penalising someone who uses mana by not letting them use mana potions, because they are already on the same level as those who dont use mana. Its an equal footing. When you allow mana potions to be used, your giving the upper hand to casters and mana dependant characters.
Look at it this way. Casters rely on mana to survive. Melee characters rely on health to survive. If you allow people to use mana potions, they gain an upper hand, because they can replenish the one thing that they rely on. To balance things out, you would need to allow melee characters to replenish their health.
Besides, casters are equipped with gear that gives them more mana and faster regeneration anyway.
I dont understand why your fighting so much to allow mana potions to be used. Scared of losing cos you cant use a pot?
Like ferret said: it becomes a battle of unecessary waste of supplies.
Its pretty simple. You fight with the basics, no help from external things that could sway the tide of the battle. This includes ALL kinds of potions.
