So here's my little RNG story of Season 10. Started as monk+DH (for conquests). But after a week or so of falling behind wizards in speed T13 rifts, I was sick of it and decided to make a wizard as well. Gambled some random Tal pieces, re-rolled them using the cube's cheap set re-roll recipe. Ended up with those two (I know it sucks they're non-ancient, but I'm actually fine with it since I don't intend to augment anything; wizard is gonna be purely my T13 farming class):
Gear overall looked nice - except for belt, Manald Heal, and weapon I had all the right rolls now. So let's try to cube a few wands... got 5 Starfires, none of them ancient. "Well, why not try to re-roll some, you got bounty mats left anyways."
I see a lot of people saying that they feel it's too easy to find gear...while I agree that it is easy to find set items, pieces you need for a build..I think it's too HARD finding that one awesome piece of gear, that one ancient, that has decent stats, and pushes you to a higher tier of greater rift clears. For myself and my wife and kids (we play on console) finding gear has gotten harder. Kadala seems more stingy in patch 2.4.3, upgrading rares seems to be a mixed bag, and getting a decent ancient anything to drop has become a pain. I've also noticed that when rolling Kadala, it seems like she almost always gives you set items you are not wearing. For instance, if I'm looking for a "Cage of the Hellborn" and wearing other pieces of that set, I usually see her give me Marauders pieces. It's almost as if the game is programmed to give you a lower chance of her giving you pieces of the set you are currently wearing, you get mostly everything else.
TLDR---It may be easy to find "gear"..but finding GOOD gear is another story.
Had to move this to the RNG thread, because honestly, a lot of what you write might be very misleading.
Kadala has not become "more stingy". It has not become more difficult to get items than before. Nothing changed in terms of drop rates at all. Also, RNG doesn't care if you already have an item or not. It doesn't try to screw you off by giving you pieces you don't need; there's simply 4 different sets so you have a 25% chance to get a "wrong" set item. It's okay to vent some steam, but please don't start believing this, and please don't make other people believe this because it's really bad misinformation.
RNG is RNG. Just because you don't win the lottery doesn't mean it hates you, it's just RNG. As Kadala says: "better luck next time".
What a sick season start. In 700 paragon levels on the opening weekend, I got no less than EIGHT (!) Starmetal Kukris. One of them ancient, and well-rolled so. Also got a Dagger of Darts:
Too bad neither of them is relevant for end-game. I'm running some full pet T10 build now with 31 little fellas fighting for me, just to put the SMK to use, but it's not really efficient (but who cares).
Also got a nice Mask of Jeram - nowhere near "world's best" or anything like that, but pretty good for season start. However, I discovered something else that's interesting: You can actually re-roll the skill damage on Deadly Rebirth (which is unusual, because usually that's a stat that can't be re-rolled, like Explosive Blast damage on WoW. That means you can have 5 main stats plus socket on that weapon:
Pretty neat!
I guess I'm done, all conquests and season journey finished, so back to non-season (or taking a break in general). How is everyone else doing this season?
Did they change the drop rate for In-geom? Currently paragon level 600+ but have not seen it dropped yet. Even tried using kanai cube to reforge yellows in to legs but having no luck finding it.
Or is it because I have bad RNG?
It's bad RNG. Also perfect topic for the RNG thread - moved post(s).
So I've gotten 3 decent Ancient weapons. However, the annoying thing it that each one of them has +dmg or +atkspeed, and really crappy rolls on it's base dmg. So I don't want to roll a stat to a socket then back once I get a Ramaladni's Gift, because I'll be forever stuck with a terrible dmg roll.
I'm getting close to Plvl300 on the season, and both me and my friend haven't seen a gift drop yet. Did I miss something in the patch notes about it being changed to drop from a different condition? If it's the same, is there any way to farm for a gift specifically? Or at least up my odds? 300 levels of no gift seems a little silly to me.
Moved this to RNG thread. It's just bad luck. I think we had the same on HC, playing in 2p party, didn't see any gifts for the first 200-300 paragon levels as well. Stopped playing at around ~650 with 3-5 gifts or so in total, which still isn't a lot. Some people find more, some find less. RNG. Keep playing, you'll find them eventually. Join 4 player groups and ask if people can drop a gift if they find it, usually most high paragon players have dozens of them and no use anymore, so they'll be fine to give them away.
Edit: Moved replies here as well. Thanks Helycon for pointing out the right direction.
Moved to RNG thread as the other post - since the title sounded very much like showing off ;-)
You want 10% damage and either LFPS for solo or area damage for groups. Since you can't have 10% damage AND area damage on that weapon anyways, just re-roll the vitality to 10% damage.
Gratz. Moved this to RNG thread as the thread title was exactly about that I guess. Re-roll is pretty straight: Don't touch it for solo, LPFS to area damage for groups.

Spoiler-free link.

Wish it was ancient. Well, no use for it anyway at the moment.

@jmurbach: Moved to RNG thread.
Yes... act 1 caches and act 4 caches (which have a chance to drop any cache item, so the chance is a bit lower due to more items being in the pool).
No, the drop rate is as usual, and you can't get it from the cube. It's all RNG... which is why I moved your post to the RNG thread.

Also, I see your Fist and raise you mine:

I've been known for being terribly unlucky with weapons. Looks like all the bad luck turned around for this one crazy roll...
