Everyone's ancient loot is 10% of its total loot, we know that. I've been really lucky with some ancient items - getting perfect rolls... but only on items that are completely useless. Yesterday, it hit rock bottom; I probably now own one of the world's best "Light of Grace", for which unfortunately no use exists other than running around like a gimped toon that deals 10% damage of any end-game wizard.
seems like a neat weapon if playing as fire, slower but hits harder then fast 1handers.. but stil dont get it..
Moved to RNG thread. Unless there's a question? Yes, slower weapons hit harder if same DPS, because otherwise "damage per second" wouldn't make sense ;-)
So i did a new DH to 70 lastnight and today this dropped, i asume its alright to use since im new? not bad roll and its ancient, what do u think? now must hunt for marauders set i guess
Well, you didn't have that last question in your thread... that gives it an entirely different vibe.
It's not a Crusader shield, it's a shield that can be worn by all classes. It's not rare at all, it can be farmed because it only drops from bounty caches in act 2. About the last question... is it worth equipping? Well, there are competing opinions. As you can imagine it's a very defensive shield, so it competes with the Stormshield for its defensive value. A perfect Stormshield gives you 30% melee damage reduction, a perfect Coven's Criterion reduces all damage from blocked attacks by 60%. Considering that the biggest threat are elite affixes, and many of them are melee and can be mitigated by melee damage reduction but probably only two can be blocked (electrified and fire chains), the answer is probably: no. (Note that there might be some use for it for high-end players in specific situations, but since it seems you're relatively new to the game there's really no point of going too much into it... you can safely get rid of that shield for now.
3700+ total hours played

______NO ONE STARMETAL KUKRI_______
Blizzard What should I do to drop it?
Step one: post in the correct thread.
Moved to RNG.
Welcome to the club - I've got about the same amount of hours played on my wizard, including 160k shards spent on 1h weapons, no Wand of Woh. RNG. Got every other item in the game though... SMK, 2 Krider, 2 Shukrani's, 4 Akarat's Awakenings, 2 Furnace, 3 Star of Azkaranths, 5 Rimeheart, ... but no freaking WoW.
A clan mate gambled an ancient Kridershot and ancient Calamity within 10 minutes. Both with max discipline and well-rolled.
A few hours later this dropped for him:
I guess you can't realistically upgrade this anymore. Did a GR58 in 11:30 afterwards - in 2 player...
Gratz! Moved to RNG thread.

Moved to where it belongs - the RNG thread.
Sorry for missing the notification earlier - moved your post into this thread as it belongs here.
Please don't :-(
Probably a quest reward or from a bounty cache. All items from bounty caches are account bound.

Those are some crazy items. Now you should focus on upgrading gems - why are they so low? :-)
