Thought I'd take a little break from some of my older games for awhile and began recording this delightful little game I found on Steam. I'm sure most of you have seen it before.

Just...moving with keys drives me crazy. Older games used the arrow keys rather than asdw. Of course I could change it, but ultimately I just like having what is essentially a joystick to move around. At any rate, this game is really seriously hard. Hopefully once I learn the power-ups better and get used to the different characters I'll get better at formulating a strategy and maybe I'll beat this crazy game.

This game looks pretty interesting. Disappointed though with the playtime disparity between the 2 videos, though.

The second video I posted here is the third one. You can see the one in between by going to my channel. Or I'll just post it here I guess.

But also, as I explain in the video, it's a bit difficult to do a playthrough of this game. You cannot save your progress so if I die, I gotta start all over again. And instead of recording me working my way up to the level where I died, I don't start recording until I am at that level again. Otherwise I could just be doing videos over and over and dying over and over and it was meant to be a shorter let's play than that.

Last night I got farther than ever so I did another recording. Also, I was getting tired of the game's original music playing on a loop so I just inserted some Diablo music instead. It felt appropriate for the type of game anyway.

lol this game rocks. It's not that hard, it just requires alot of pratice (with 40 hours or so you're able to kill mom's heart every try!).
Don't give up, the different ending are rewarding !

The other day after defeating the heart I got to go to a sacrifice room which had a trapdoor to Sheol's lair. It was the first time I was there. Unfortunately I was at work so I didn't get to record it and I didn't get very far anyway.

But once you learn the different powerups and how to take advantages of beggars and slot machines and stuff it really makes a huge difference. I also like Cain just because he can't be negatively affected by pills.

Totally agree.

Cain > Isaac (with dice) > Maggy > Judas > Eve > Blue Baby imo

I haven't unlocked Blue Baby yet. I can see the potential for Maggy but she's so slow to start and you may never get the upgrades necessary to enjoy the benefit of her starting amount of health. I've barely played with Judas and Eve was a disaster for me. I don't think that near death perk she has is worth it really. I mean, it's hardly something you'd want to come to rely on. It might make you play too offensively at times.

I beat the Purist challenge last night! Check it out! This game is seriously addicting. I wish I could just give it up.
