Saw this thread on main diablo 3 site and there were some good responses.. thought it would be good to post here and see what DF peeps have to say:
In the spirit of Jay Wilson's recent twitter feed where he
contradicted himself with "You'll know as soon as I am allowed to
say" and "You'll know as soon as I know" regarding the release date,
create the real sign of release using his sentence formula.
My entry:
"You'll know as soon as I finish rumaging through 600 ex-employee's desks."
Goddamn that looks delicious. Forget D3, just release some more bacon!

i would choose my own religion and worship my own spirit, but if he ever preached to me i wouldn't want to hear it. i'd drop him, a forgotten god, languishing in shame; and then if i hit stormy seas, i'd have myself to blame.
You'll know as soon as we are 100% sure we can make the projected date, so our office will not be mobbed if we are wrong. Unless we are sure more than two months before the target date, in which case we will hold out, so that we don't have to admit that it's that far away, and to build hype.
Or:
You'll know as soon as soon as our internal communications are sent to wikileaks.
Those are both pretty dry. But that's what an evening of watching MSSQL progress bars does to your sense of humor.
