was just thinking up possible ideas on the train one day.... thought a half breed would be amazing!!!
possibly a skill tree for demon and angel powers, not sure about what the third could be.
A cool addition would be if your appearance started to change depending on which skill tree you invested in most???
the more i think about it though,, the less liklely it seems.
If Blizzard were true to the pwoer of angels/demons the class would be massively overpowered.
However, if they chose to mould the class around a 'Nephalem', the first humans born from angels/demons it MAY become a reality.
who knows
Good thought m8. As long as there's a 'dark' class I will be happy. but I doubt they would ever do a class that is related to the angels and demons, and yes, as you said it would be overpowered
Be awesome if any character changed its appearance so other people could tell what class you were, sick! Maybe for D4? haha
Love the Barb though

Funny thing is, their ancestors are also called Nephalem.

Sanctuary was created a safe haven from the Great Conflict for both angels and demons. The Worldstone was created to shield this place from prying eyes.
Demons and Angels mated, creating the Nephalem.
The Nephalem were too powerful, so the Worldstone was altered to weaken these beings.
After many generations, the Nephalem lost their power and then they became humans. So in the end a human on Sanctuary is half demon, half angel.
Funny thing is, their ancestors are also called Nephalem.

i was reading up on some lore just before i made the thread.. thats where i pulled nephalem from no way i could pull a word like that from nowhere. lol
does it actually mean half demon/angel in the hebrew bible??? thats rather... interesting. its sounding more likely now but i still know its false hope. lol
Wikipedia says there are four different views regarding the Nephilim:
They were the hybrid offspring of fallen angels and human women.
They were the offspring of descendants of Seth with those of Cain.
Webster's 1913 Dictionary defines the word simply as "Giant." Thus, any especially tall, powerful, large, or mighty man would be described in ancient times as Nephilim. Nephilim may simply mean "giant," champion, or strong man.
They are not historical figures and are ancient imagery with questionable meaning.
I don't know anything about this, to be honest. All my knowledge is inside Wikipedia's hands.

In hebrew, "nephilim" comes from the word "nafal" which is he fell in the past. Or "Lipol" which is to fall down. The "Nephilim" is like the fallen ones. But this is not 100% accurate because of some language issues that changed with time. Anyway, I think the fallen ones were just a race of big humans. At first those big humans were strong and they ruled some places because other people thought they were some kind of gods... After years and years, the smaller human tribes got bigger by number, so they attacked those big humans (which had problems with their breeding system i suppose) and killed them all with spears. So today, you see weird pictures of giant skeletons in the desert. I dont know if those pics are genuine but you can guess.
Edit: Oh and in the bible itself, Nephilim are the offspring of Angels and female humans.

Well, it seems that the word 'Nephilim' comes from the Hebrew Bible. So it has some religious roots.
