I like the idea of a Dark Paladin, kind of like the story of spawn, This once noble knight found himself in a position to sell his soul to the devil to save mankind, now there is a conflict within (darth vader) and now strives to banquish evil whith is new dark power ever seeking to regain who he once was.

it is a neat and interesting idea but it is too ahead, maybe starting out as a palading then when you reach like level 30 you can choose if you wanna be a Dark Paladin or a holy on (err cant come up with a name) same with all the classes, (each of the 2 offers different skills, advantages and abilities

Too much like the paladin/dark paladin from baldurs gate 2...or was it NWN. Or both.
1. Witch Doctor - Brand new
2. Barbarian - Same guy from Diablo 2, only older and more hardened.
But what of the three remaining classes? Well I have some valuable insight on the next 3 warriors to enter the fight of Good and Evil...
3. Magus (Sorceress class)
And heres why: I think it may be a Magus, which is unisex, the definition states "a magician or sorcerer of ancient times" That would be very fitting, especially with the Horadrim, have a section of Horadric mages that seperate and focus primarily on elemental and war magiks. It could also be called "Mage" but that is so played out, I hope Blizzard does not use "Mage".
4. Rogue (Ranged Class)
I realize pic is mispelled, lol
And heres why: This one is completely obvious. There will be an Amazon/Ranged Fighter type character, Rogue fits, male and female, it can encompass all aspects of fighting, not just ranged only. This is a no brainer.
5. Seraph (Paladin Class)
And heres why: I think it may be a Seraph/Seraphic, male and female equivalence (Seraphic is actually an adjective, but it would fit for female version), the definition states "one of the celestial beings hovering above God's throne in Isaiah's vision. Isa. 6. " I mean come on, how AWESOME would that be to play an ANGEL from Diablo!? And how much perfect sense!!! "The heavens shall tremble..." I definately think a Seraph is an EXCELLENT idea. It has NEVER been done before (In Diablo), and would add an IMMENSE value of new features and gameplay.
I can not see any other classes they could make, all other classes I can think of are either played out, wowish, or just plain bland.
some of them are good ideas, like a magus they might make if they wanted to alter some skills and bios around, but the other 2 are kinda hit or miss, rogue has been done, and a seraph would be to strong.

Remember the String of Ears
"to the worm in horseradish, the world is horseradish."
He's making this up. I'm gonna rename the thread, because that is completely misleading.
They already had a Rogue in Diablo I, including the Rogue mercs in DII. They wouldn't use the name 'rogue' again unless it referred to the same Sisters of the Sightless Eye.
hey what about that concept art of that fat guy, the one after the druid? It looked like a panda brewmaster but was a human version not a panda. Maybe they made a brewmaster class that would be sweet blowing fire into peoples faces.
He's just making it up, although by pure luck he might be right. There won't be an angel class, by the way. I'm saying that in advance, since Diablo's storyline is always primarily about humankind's struggle to remain alive, and not an angel's, and since we've always played humans before and never any form of spirit.

I say right in my post, "I think... Insert Class here... would be a good idea because"
I made the title to get attention and technically I am revealing my ideas for the classes.
Also they could use Rogue as many times as they want, so what if it was in Diablo 1. The Barbarian was in Diablo 2 and here he is now in Diablo 3.
Instead of Rouge would you prefer "Mercenary?" lol
yea they should have a brewmaster character, they had drunks in diablo 2 in the bar from act two. They could spit fire and have drunken monkey kung fu. Yea man i should work for blizz i can come up with a shitload of characters.

Also was it really necessary to incorporate my thread into this 180 page thread? Really?
I could have renamed it for you, instead of being washed away in someone elses topic. Ill make a new one tomorrow with a different name.

Yes, I do agree. You have no brain. /clap
"Rogues" in the Diablo universe, Sanctuary, are generally members of the Sisters of the Sightless Eye. I don't think Blizzard will create a shitstorm by taking that name, because it's not unisex.
Also, your entire thread is incredibly missleading. Enjoy.
Sisters of sightless eye huh? You mean the Rogues OF THE sisters of the sightless eye? You know, the Section of Rogues, not necessarily the ENTIRE diablo definition of Rogue?
If you are so insightful on Diablo 3, then what will be the name of the Ranged Class warrior?
Please, blind me with your science.

Is an Angel not a Higher Level of Humankind after death?
What if the Paladin's death in diablo 2 created the Seraph for diablo 3?
That would be interesting...
And the Assassins death created some demon sort, you had to fight...
Becoming an angel or demon in the Diablo universe isn't a matter of transcendence or ascension, but would rather be a form of extreme transformation. Humans are technically half-demon/half-angelic beings who've lost their powers over thousands of years of conditioning.
Sorry about 3x post, I get excited.
According to what Lore? Diablo? or Common Christianity?
If there is a place in Diablo Lore that states this fact then damn, cause a Seraph would KICK ASS.
(Although if the Paladin destroyed the Soul Stones (Diablo and Mephisto) which to my knowledge has NEVER happened before, that could invoke an Extreme Angelic Transformation for ending such Evil.)
But if this basis is on, lets say, General Christianity, well there are many different denominations that could agree/disagree with that statement.
For the shear purpose of using "The Hand of God" spell that eliminates all Undead on the screen and/or causes 10k damage at a rate of 1 cast per 2 minutes. But that would probably be nerfed by 1.01
According to what Lore? Diablo? or Common Christianity?
In Diablo's lore, the Archangel Inarius grew so weary of the eternal war against Hell that he created Sanctuary as a place where Angels and Demons could exist peacefully, and he created the Worldstone to hide it from Heaven and Hell.
The Angels and Demons that chose to join him in Sanctuary together spawned a hybrid race called the Nephalem, more powerful than even the beings which sired them.
Lilith, the daughter of Mephisto and mother of Andariel, got it into her head to use the Nephalem as soldiers, and she systematically murdered each and every one of the Angels and Demons in Sanctuary, except for her lover, the Archangel Inarius. Inarius wanted no part of her plan, nor did he wish to harm her, and so behind her back, Inarius altered the Worldstone to not only shield Sanctuary from Heaven and Hell, but also to weaken the power of the Nephalem with each generation. And so slowly, the Nephalem became the mortals that live in Sanctuary today.
Heaven captured Inarius and Lilith returned to Hell. Mephisto requested to take him as his own prisoner, and Heaven allowed this under the condition that Mephisto not harm Sanctuary. Heaven then wiped the memory of Sanctuary's inhabitants in order to allow them to develop on their own with no knowledge of their former power.

A playable Angel would make the human classes rather obsolete, no? They're not Nephalem again, yet.

throwing something angelic like that into the game as a character wouldnt really make sense... theres no way they could justify making it equivalent to the human chars. it would be way too 1337... might as well just ask them to make tyreal a playable char
my guess is blizzard is loling at the idea, making rofl cakes and covering them in a sweet lmao icing
