I just found this while looking at the world page on the official site...
Does anyone else find it odd they included two demons AND a angel in the grahic...
Usually they would of put a demon on one side and a angel on the other but they're all together.
Maybe the angel is Tyrael... Maybe he is part of the being known as Hydra in some way.
wouldnt make sense.... because there's three heads and not one has a hood on besides this has been brought up many times before, im not shunning it aside, but i view it as a repeating quote

it looks as if Tyreal is on Diablos right hand side and the demon is on his left in other words im trying to say Tyreal is maybe teaming up with Diablo after going all evil and stuff and 1st off become Diablos right hand man until he becomes more pwerful than Diablo therefore making him the final boss and therefore above diablo. or it is the bigenning of a war between heaven and hell (the pic on blizz.com says heaven and hell shall tremble pretty much right? so maybe they warring and Tyreal is good but the producer pplz are trying to get us all spiked up nd stuff and get us thinking alot and im getting a headache.... so its working (and they say everypic is worth a thousand word) and i could go on but ive been typing too much on mypsace and my fingers hurt sooos... any commentz?

Well I inspected the picture from the Diablo 3 site.. and I dont think it is a pentagram.. altough it does look like some sort of prison indeed so the rest of your theory seems pretty good m8 Again you see some redish glow.. allmost as if he is trying to breack free?

SORRY for double post but apocalypz i wasnt talking about the picture i was talking about the 3 headed demon in the Cinematic teaser, i kno that in the picture tho (With Belial Azmodan and Tyrael) that the right hand figure has a hood on

Traditionally, when angels are "cast out of Heaven", they are literally thrown out, either by god or otherwise. Satan didn't fly down, he was literally "cast out" (in the literal Hebrew translation from the Old Testament it is closer to "throw" in meaning".)

Both concepts were originally made by the Jews and their theology should be used as filler when current angel mythology does not cover a subject.

very nice long post but u spelled sword with word lol true but then again alot of people belive there are six acts and maybe u fight Tyreal there and u accidentally knock the shard out of him turning him into good Tyreal again?

very true zombie that may be it but still why would his tendrils change from white to bluish red and then to a form of reddish white(i think its red but i have my doubts)

and apocalypz you can clearly see that for some reason the tyrael's wings has become shorter and smaller, (if you've seen the cutscene in D2 when Diablo tries to free Baal and when he was kneeling in the final cutscene in LoD) maybe they are being pulled out which is causing him pain and the red color that are leaking out must be a sign of pain or something else ,idk
also true but u have to think though maybe the blue ones are being absorbed inside of him and his true evil is beginning to show with the flames? u never know
