She doesn't seem to have an official title like the others that are mentioned in the manual, and the novels don't really title her properly that I know of. Of course, she could just simply have many titles for anyone to pick and choose without any of them being official. She's definitely one that likes to adapt to different situations, so that’s probably why she has so many names.
Solomir seems to have used Mistress of Betrayal, which is found in Birthright, here:
“Lilith is her true name, an evil older than the world! She is the mother of deceit, the mistress of betrayal! You are indeed strong for having survived against her, my son.”
But that seems more like a nickname, because he says two things and neither of them are Titled.
Queen of the Succubi is mentioned by the Arreat Summit, and that seems to be the closest to official, though it lacks a describing word.
There's also Mother of Misery but I don't know where it came from. Does anyone know? Someone said it in the wiki and I also saw it somewhere else... possibly PlanetDiablo. It sounds cool, but, is she really associated with Misery?
Hah, why don’t we just make up our own?
She’s very seductive – especially being the Queen of Succubi and all (we all know what Succubi are), so I thought her title would have something to do with seduction. Mistress of Seduction, maybe?
Seductive Mistress of Betrayal ? - lol nah sounds like an item with a prefix and suffix
Also, thinking of Lilith, what would Lucion's title be? It was kind of Primus of the Triune, but the Triune was destroyed.

I like that title. It might even be the right one. If she does have a title.

He was sort of a ruler. I'd say "Lord of Deceit" but "Lord of Lies" is terribly close in meaning. Although perhaps not really. Lying implies an active act; you must say something in order to lie. But you don't specifically have to do anything to deceive, only place the groundwork and wait for the people to react on their own.

Hmm, yeah, I like Lord of Deceit. Afterall, 'Anguish' and 'Pain' are very similar too.
Also, considering they are siblings and spawns of Hatred, it would be cool if they were some sort of emotion that are products of hatred. Like, first you hate someone, and then you... what? Seduce them and Decieve them? hah. I'm gonna google human emotions...
Edit: I think the first thing hate leads to is violence lol. But all the demons are violent...
Common forms of hate are apparently Prejudice or Bigotry, but that doesn't really fit either.
hmm..
*still researching*
Edit 2: FOUND SOMETHING GOOD:
Hate is among the most powerful of human emotions -- it has caused great sorrow and suffering -- and yet it has been understudied by psychologists.
(from The Psychology of Hate book)
Lord of Suffering and Mistress of Sorrow? Sorrow is similar to misery, and anguish often follows Sorrow.
That is pretty cool. I suppose Uldyssian felt great sorrow... but, not really. He was more angry. And Sorrow creating Seductive Succubi? Doesn't really fit... I'll have to look up sorrow. But it would be cool if it did fit. Suffering definitely fits Lucion though, but then it also fits all of them lol. Then again, all of the emotions of hell can fit each other. The Great Evils aren't limited to what their own title says.
Edit 3: That book also says that 'Hate is the Imitation of Love' - which reminds me of Lilith, and makes sense for her to be Mephistos 'daughter'.
Sorrow - deep distress, sadness, or regret especially for the loss of someone or something loved.
And actually yeah, that fits Uldyssian's feelings. Lilith seduced him, made him love her, then she took all that away and he felt sorrow for his lost - as well as feeling hatred for making him feel that way lol. Also, she is likely sorrow for her loss of her true love, Inarius. Perfect.
Well, love is definitely associated with sorrow, and Lilith is definitely full of love. So 'seduction' and 'sorrow' both fit her equally, its just that seduction doesn't fit hatred as well as sorrow does.
Lilith, Mistress of Sorrow
Lucion, Lord of Suffering
*goes to edit first post*
Edit 5: Also, while we are defining emotions...
Anguish - suggests torturing grief or dread <the anguish felt by the parents of the kidnapped child>. (Perfect for Andariel as anguish is similar to sorrow and can easily be a product of it)
Malice - desire to inflict injury, harm, or suffering on another, either because of a hostile impulse or out of deep-seated meanness: the malice and spite of a lifelong enemy. (Malic, Lucions favourite, is a kind of allusion to 'malice', and since malice is a desire to inflict suffering, it fits that Malic is Lucions favourite. I know he's only human, so he's not officially associated with Malice, but the allusion is obivous. This is all working perfectly. I soo hope Blizzard gets a similar idea for naming Lucion and Lilith.
I'm connecting demonic 'families' together using emotions because they said that demons and angels can be 'siblings' but not in the way humans are. So, since the demons are associated with a different emotion each, I always thought that this is what they meant by 'sibling' or 'child' - similar emotions for siblings or products of emotions for children.
I was thinking of ideas and came up with one which is... disturbing to say the least... Mother of Seduction... EWW!
Lucion, Lord of Suffering is perfect but iono if Lillith is the Mistress of Sorrow
I though she would be more of the Mistress of Deceit
Deceit is her main characteristic, she only uses seduction to deceive people
Edit- I see what youre trying to do by linking their primary characteristic into a family tree though
Malic, Master of Malice?
no, he said 'Mother of Seduction', which is why I said 'milf'. I hadn't thought to use 'mother', only 'mistress'.
True, the other evils don't tend to change form as much as Lucion and even Lilith. Diablo does, but his is based on the fear of the person he looks at. Astrogah pretended to be the Primus too, and Inarius pretends to be that human guy too though. And Tyreal can also look like a human. I think its a fairly common skill, so I guess it just depends on how often they want to use it. And yeah, Lucion used it the most, along with Lilith - but its okay if they both are decieving, they are siblings afterall.
I still vote for my idea though. But you have a good point.
hah, Azazel, thats the demon they used in the movie Fallen that I was talking to Equinox about. Coincidence...
“ The whole earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught by Azazel: to him ascribe all sin. ”
— 1 Enoch 8:1
Sounds more like inspiration for Asmodan though. But I think it also mentioned something about the Apocalypse, which would be good for a Son of Baal, considering its relation to Destruction.
hah, it'd be funny if there was a 'Lord of Distraction'. LoL, "Look behind you!" *Runs away* "Agh! Filthy demon! Tricked me again!" hahaha.
No dude, YOU said mistress of seduction in the very first post of this thread, look up. LOL you forgot!
Please read what you post before actually posting. You're not disagreeing with each other. You both agree he said mistress.

Lord of distraction would be hilarious. They should make a spinoff of Diablo making fun of all the angels and demons. Diablo: Lord of Error. Imagine diablo with some learning disorder, mephisto has that 6-second memory thing, and baal having split personality gone way too haywire haha. Cool comic strip, it would make.
So, anyone reading this with some comic skills who'd like to make it? I'm think it'd be hilarious to read

What would Mephisto be? Lord of Hats? lol thats pretty crap. lets think of something better... Lord of Eight? As in, H8, but spelt out? He could be obsessed with 8? weird..
hah, i have some drawing ability, but I'm not very funny and aren't that good at cartoons.
LOL. okay, Lord of Eight it is! haha, 8 second memory, nice.
Haha, Lord of Construction. but I was thinking Baal would be the Lord of Distraction, cause I thought of 'distraction' when I made a typo trying to type 'distruction'.
Edit: and as for being sedated, lol, okay, I believe you. I really didn't think much of it anyway, I'm sure you have a perfectly good reason.
I'm currently attempting one for Baal, the Lord of Destraction. When you're not-so-sedated (lol), try one for Diablo or Mephisto. That way we don't both do the same thing lol.
Edit: hahaha, damn that Mephisto and his evil powers.

Lilith, as is the first wife of Adam, is the mother of all Succubi and Incubi.

Its nice to see someone mentioning incubi. I imagine them being these blue scaly-skinned humanoid demons with wings , basically male versions of succubi but blue and a demonic face, slightly demonic with subtle human hints. And they have swords of fire and throw bloodstars too
They couldnt be too ugly, I mean their job is to seduce the opposite sex, that would be hard to do with scales and a demonic face.
Mystique from the Xmen franchise still manages to come off as quite sensual/sexual while being covered in scales.
Its nice to see someone mentioning incubi.
As an amateur daemonologist, I would have to be a complete idiot to forget about the Incubi.

I know, its just, it doesn't sound as good. It doesn't describe her personality, you only assume that she's just like her children. But she is certainly feeling sorrow for her loss of Inarius, is she not? I'd imagine she would be full of it, if she truely loved him - which is what the books tell us. (Which is kind of odd for a demon though...)
That leads me to another thing... why did she help Mephisto and his brothers come back... when Mephisto is the one that tortured Inarius? You could say it was just a game ploy to get some ubers... especially since it happened before The Sin War triology... or you could assume that everything is canon and somehow helping them benefits her... or she just doesn't care about Inarius anymore. She is a demon afterall.. but still.. they said that she truely loves him... then again, Mephisto is her father. Its just interesting to think about, no real answer.
I don't like greek mythology though. I like dark gothic mythology lol.
Do you have info on any of these? Azazel, mammon (yeah i know he was in the movie constantine but still. movies tend to change the facts sometimes) and malach? And samael. Oh and the baphomet too ... i know how he looks but no idea what he is.
Without fumbling through dusty old tomes, seriously I actually own some old books that speak of demons, I'd be tempted to try wikipedia. Not the most factual at times, but a it has its uses.

Maybe Meph is going to release Inarius in return for Lilith's assistance. Could be an interesting plot twist in regards to D3.

Lilith clearly comes back somehow, but how we do not know.. yet..
No, I don't mean Uldyssian. She didn't really love him, she was just using him. I'll find some quotes
Oh no, wait, its okay, I was wrong. They are former lovers, not lovers as I had thought.
As Inarius descended into the chamber and the ceiling began realigning itself, he already knew that, when the time came, he would treat the other just as he intended his former lover.
