Lol, you really made me laugh, thank you. Also, as for Satan, I guess that definetly prooves me wrong. But, i'm merely offering another option to the story line. Personally I would like Tyreal to turn into a baddie, and start going PEW PEW to all those darn Act 2 mercenaries!
Haha Woah - like I said just something I thought would kinda click YEARS ago - Plus yeah I only saw 3 threads in the storyline Forum - so figured it was clean.
But further more - I guess we do just have to wait and see - how ever long that takes.
You'd be too true on the other 2 family members as well - just a pain waiting cause no other game has ever come up as good as Diablo in my books - not in that style.
Satan, or Lucifer was not an Arch Angel, he was a Seraphim. He was the highest ranked angel at the time, even higher the Michael or Gabriel. His fall from grace was due to his Pride, he wanted to be God, not serve him.
It is better to rule in Hell, than to serve in Heaven - Lucifer, Paradise Lost

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

This is just another one of my thoughts, so please suggest, revise, or criticize.
After the destruction of the World Stone and the death of Baal, the archangel Tyreal descended into a deep madness. In his brooding depression Tyreal came to the conclusion his original purpose had been served, therefore we would create something to make him useful once more. Tyreal then ventured into the fiery wastes of hell, where he proceeded to free the two remaining lesser evils, Belial and Azmadon.
Next, Tyreal instructed Belial and Azmadon to spread demonic chaos into the mortal realm once more. Finally, Tyreal was able to gather up the remnants of the shattered prime evil soul stones. With these stones he was able to forge new evils, ones that he would release back into the world. Now the crazed Tyreal sits in his heavenly kingdom, creating abominations new heroes must face.
Act 1:
City ‡ Hell
Act mission: Venture into hell and destroy Azmadon.
Act 2:
Burned countryside ‡ Forest
Act mission: Destroy two newly made lesser evils.
Act 3:
Forest ( Alice and Wonderland )
Act mission: Destroy Belial.
Diablo is to that series what Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader is to Star Wars.
He IS that series. How could you not have him in it, with the excpetion of side project. Darth Vader wasn't in EWOKS: The Battle for Endor, err and the other two spin off movies.
The only way your could possible get away with having Diablo feature for the minimal amount of time would be to set the game prior to his capture. He was kinda just roaming around while a bunch of Horadrim mages, mostly Vizerei, tracked him down.

Tyreal can't really be turned evil in my opinion, he is of pure good, but... If you think about it, is it really that much of a stretch to guess he could go insane? I mean, his purpose has been served, there is no evil left for him to battle in the mortal realm. So, if you think about it, he could really just create more, which in a sense would make him a villan.

Tyreal is pure good???
He defied the laws of heaven and interfered with the mortal realm ever since he gave the Horadrim mages the soulstones.
Lol Tyreal has to be the bad guy. The portal you enter after you kill baal...That portal could be to the depest of hells itself where billiosn of demons wait to destroy you....Come on the portal is a prerty big mistery you have know idea where it goes. I think Tyreal is evil....The only reason ppl love him is becouse the izual quest you get 2 skill poitns......You only see him twice how can you trust him? A angel that breaks heavens laws gives the original soulstones to the horadrim....Id say heaven is prerty pissed off at him even if his intentions are for the good. Tyreal is evil I cant wait to pwn him in d3....

No it cannot.

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.

This sounds much too human to me going insane because of boredom. Not very likely I say.

I don't think he has to instruct them to do anything, they'd do that regardless of what he said. And why would gathering up some old pieces of rock create new prime evils? The Prime Evils defined the Soulstones, not vice versa.

I will only play the game if Diablo present. Seriously...that is the main bad guy and not having him in the sequel will make the game pointless.
You didn't answer my question

Many concepts are based off beliefs in our world, as well, what about Izual? If he can turn evil, why can't Tyrael?
Because Izual is a lesser angel. Izual was corrupted, and the only way I'll accept that is if, say, Hephaestus can be turned good. Otherwise Hell will win in the end, because they cannot loose troops other than in death.
Tyrael cannot be corrupted because he and the Angiris Council are the equivalents of the Three. They're the embodiment of Heaven, Order incarnate. If Tyrael can turn evil, then for the same reason Diablo/Mephisto/Baal must also be able to become good, or else Heaven has already lost perdefinition.
Since this is a perpetual war without end, if any side possesses an advantage that the other cannot counter, that slight advantage will lead to victory, because there's an infinity of time to compete in.

From reading the sin war trilogy its my belief that Diablo, Mehpisto and Baal arent destroyed but simply ceased to exist in Sanctuary much the way Lucion wasnt truly killed by Uldyssian he just went back to 'hell'.
As far as the Angels vs Demons none of them are 'good' they both seek to use the humans of sanctuary to turn the tide of the war. The demons are obviously using brute force and corrupting the nephalems will, whereas the angels are using a more subtle coercion. The angels feel that the nephalem are monsters in their own right and should be erradicated, if not for their power they probably would do so.
The worldstone is somewhat irrelevant, it used to shield the presence of Sanctuary from Heaven and Hell but it was certainly past that by Diablo/Diablo 2 since demons and angels were already in Sanctuary. The major plotline concerning the worldstone being destroyed would centre around the powers of the Nephalem and whether they would be strengthened or weakened as a result.

And if it does apply to our world, then I'm fine with Tyrael turning evil. So long as Diablo can turn good as well.
