anyway, me and ferret were talking, We want ferret to make the SICK rules.

nothing else to it, the old way inst working. there is absolutely no growth in SICK.

if he doesn't get it, or we find a middle ground, i will resign from Sick.

This is defiantly seconded.. even though im not in sick or w/e i know the gg ppl in sick and there is no new recruits thanks to the current rules.. this has here by been Vouched..

I agree with Bambi on this. We could get a ton of new recruits all the time, but the restrictions put on newcomers prevents that. Giving all D2 say to Ferret will make things better in my opinion.

i think we need to find middle ground. and yes. there are need of new recruits. and i have tryed to recruit people from diablo 2 a couple times. and they ask some questions that are interesting. like "what do i benifit from joining?" and stuff like that. and the whole explaining the go to this site and join and get 100 posts. they "to me" feel to much work just to join.

I agree, things have been very...stagnant lately, we do need "fresh meat". Ferret is a logical choice, he is on frequently as are Winston and Bambi, and they are all doing quite well on the ladder.

If not comfortable with one person, maybe have a triumverate (Ferret, Winston & Bambi) over SICK. Everytime I log on to LoD one if not all three (and a few others as well) are on and are always willing to help you out.

How about posting up some of your ideas Ferret? Let us see what you have in mind.

SICK definitely needs to be shaken up and stirred into action.

Deregulation is the key. Hnk, Will, Ftero, Fire Dragon, and I are playing on Battle.net consistently. We help each other out, but we also have rules to follow. But we don't make it so technical as to scare away the uninitiated. Though we have had some cop out on us already and they never play anymore. But we are still having a good time anyway with who is left.

Let it be known I am not against the suggestion of idea from the populous. No far from it, I welcome it. If you feel there is an an area that needs improvement, then by all means speak up.

The requirements may be steep, perhaps too steep, however there needs to be something. I have lived through 3 restructurings due to lack of dedicated players. People would sign up, then never be seen or heard from again. This cannot be allowed to happen!!!! Not again.

And by the Que Hegan, I will not sit through yet another dissension by members to another realm. If someone says we play one Realm then we play one one Realm dammit!! I have had it up to here with not being able to find people because they are on 5 different realms. What happened to our sense of unity? loyalty?

Strength through Unity, Unity through Faith. And as always, SICK prevails!!

you're not agianst the idea, so thats a possible start.

the requirements are steep, that's why ferret should be able to manage d2 players, and rules. (for diablo 2 players)

5 different realms? last i checked, were all on WEST Sc ladder. loyalty? unity? it's still there, but i'm not going to sit here while the clan i'm in freeze's or just incinerates.

also, i'd appreciate it if you gave me a straight foward answer and not dodge my question.

He was actually refering to WoW where each person is on there own realm and there own faction and refuses to cooperate with each other.

But we're not talking about WoW- we're talking about Ferret taking charge of the Diablo II section, so that would be irrelevant. (Not directing that at anyone in particular, but I just want to make sure we're all talking about the same thing.)

Again, not in clan, so take this like a grain of salt.

Yes, you arn't talking about WoW. But when an clan is in multiple games, what happens in one game will affect everyone, whether you play, or even like that game.

Plus, Elfen was talking about unity, not the game, but unity in general. When a clan can't even unite under one realm, there's an issue.

I am not against the idea either. I still want people on one realm and I still enforce the ranking system. Let's turn this thread into a discussion thread as to what changes could be made to help out ferret.

The first post is asking that Ferret be enstated as officiator of the DIABLO II section of the clan. In DIABLO II, we're already all on US West Softcore Ladder. This discussion has nothing to do with WoW. If you're having trouble with WoW (not you Link, since you're not in SICK), don't bring its discussion in here, because this is strictly about DIABLO II.

ranking system will still be there, and we will all be in one realm, obviously.but i want ferret to rewrite the requirements to SICK

how he does it is on him, i trust ferret 100% and i know he will do what is best for the diablo 2 players.

As do I, still it is good to have opinions and give our help.

an idea i just had while reading thread:

silver and a few others were thinking about making questions into joining the travincal threads. what about making some questions to ask players on d2? would this even be able to do?

what are you saying? If a newbie knows stuff about d2 they get in the travincal thrad?

We're not talking about the Travincal thread- Nergal was saying a test of sorts over basic knowledge for admittance in to SICK might be a good idea.
