Well its easy to go through norm (and so far nm) with a sorc because of the easy tele and the massive mana boost and mana regen. I just got mini rushed through nm actII, so I'm at the start of actIII now thanks to Poore. But Im gunna go back and lvl up a bit until 60 or so, then go through Act3.

I went back to Normal and tried the Nihlathak quest after I hit NM.
I made it down to Nowhere; just as soon as I stepped in, I got swarmed by a pack of rats (rats!?), and Izual's Ghost put me down -- hard.
I ain't goin' on that long-ass trek again any time soon. It could really use another WP (or two) between Naraku Level 1 and Nihlathak's Domain.
Before I owned Duriel in Act II NM today (he barely scratched me -- didn't even have to drink a potion), I went back to Act V Normal to have a look-see at the special places -- Moonshine Distillery, Fake Note Factory, and Poppy Farm.
Got me a couple o' Mountain Dew potions (woohoo!) in the MD, three Fake Notes (worth 50,000 gp each) in the FNF, and a Nirvana Glass thing-a-ma-bob in the PF.
Pretty cool...
Not fair anakyn, I went through all of them, and only special items I have gotten are a few fake notes from the FN factory. Nothing from the moonshine distillery or the Poppy farm. And I haven't tried Naraku yet, I'm lvl58 or so in nm actIII

you can probably make it through naraku, as long as you take your time and figure out how the enemies work. theres also a hidden staircase at the end of the dead end in case you didnt know
I would be interested to see your set up, especially if you could do 5-10k damage at level 1.
I am a lower level than Anakyn and my dmg levels are similar to his (just a bit lower). Although I still have many points that I have not distributed yet. I am using plasma rain, frenzy and concentrate atm.

Give, expecting nothing thereof. ------------ BoD - Come have some fun! Folks will always come and go, so enjoy them while they're meant to be in your life.
I have all of my earned skill points dumped into Combat Masteries (with a couple points in Warcries, bestowed by items, but I don't use Warcries).
My preferred active offensive spell is Thunder Wave, with a few points scattered in the other active spells for the synergistic effect added to Thunder Wave. The remaining points are in the passive Combat Masteries.
I misread your previous post - you had (level i) I took it as level 1.
Would still like to see your level 30 stats set up etc.

The protection aura knocks them back and I pick them off with my fist of the heavens. I can operate at close distances too, If I run out of mana, I've got 21%mana leech so I just run up and hit something that got knocked back and ive got enough mana for another 4 or five foth's.
Anakyn: Just realized those were links to your gear and set up, I was waiting for pics to come up and when the didn't I just figured my comp was acting screwy - lol (its been a long day).
You also have a lot of nice items.
I must need to boost my MF up a great deal - I am just not getting the good items that you guys are getting.
okok9: Can we see what you have that is getting you such high damage?

Stormy:So sorry for the confusion; I provided links rather than photos, given the very recent crack-down on... stuff.
My current set of items are Crafted using millions of gp (I've taken the time and inventory, to Farm for gp, a lot) for P-Gems (Amethyst, Diamond, and Obsidian), D-Stones (right-clicked three times, to Forging Hammer) and Jewels, using what I've found and bought towards the Barbarian-Craft Recipes (scroll-down to Barbarian Craft).
I've taken extra efforts, and gp, to socket each of these items, using Socket Donuts (bought and dropped) and whatever Flawless (or Blemished, in the case of the Ancient Armor) gems I had in Inventory or could afford to buy (except for the rings and amulet, which require Ancient Scrolls that I haven't found, yet).
Which brings up another question that I have... When someone refers to a character as "Rich"... where does "Rich" begin?
Heading into the Chaos Sanctuary. Just achieved Lvl 67 during my battle with Hephasto.
I've got a feeling that breaking those seals is going to be painful in NM...
I'm thankful for the absence of CS Iron Maiden in this mod, though.
Hey guys I have a problem with my ES launcher. When I start ES it always says failed to initialize.I have done everything what it said in the readme file but it doesnt want to start!Do you know how to fix this?

Heh. While looking something up this morning, I noticed that yesterday they posted a list of things being planned for R6E.
Looks like some interesting times are ahead...
