As described above, I'm having problems installing the beta client. I keep having the error whereby once I accept the terms and conditions, it will bring me to the installation page and then a "A communication error occurred, please restart. If problem persists contact customer support" error message will pop up and I won't be able to download anything. I haven't seen anyone gotten this problem yet. I'm not part of beta but I'm just worried this is a system problem which might cause the same error when the full game is released. I have a windows xp sp pack 3.
Also, a notepad will also be generated after the error named "exception-failed" with the following message inside :
Exception handler died
Original exception:
0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 001B:7C9101B3
The instruction at "0x7C9101B3" referenced memory at "0x0052005A".
The memory could not be written.
Any idea if anyone has gotten this error and solved it? Thanks and peace!
If you're getting a communication error, my first guess would be a firewall.
Also have you read trhough the beta tech forums... your best chance of finding a solution is to see if others have had it.
hmm thanks for the prompt replies. I have tried disabling my windows firewall but it still persisted. And also I have this error message as well; something about the Agent.exe which I have no idea how to deal with it lol:

AdministratorAlso have you read trhough the beta tech forums... your best chance of finding a solution is to see if others have had it.
AV or Firewall, one of the two are causing it. This is similar to an error 134 on WoW.
