You can't "adjust he ping". The ping results are what they are. It's a combination of physics, lag for echo requests leaving your machine, lag for echo responses getting back to you, and everything in between.
If you want to reduce your latency (that's what ping measures, along with reachability), see if anything is congesting your network, if your network is misconfigured, if your ISP is having issues, if your PC is overloaded, etc.
Hi, I just reinstalled Diablo 3 and I'm having ping problems.
I was playing with ~ 600ms.
I managed to lower the ping up to ~ 90ms by closing the battlenet launcher, but in my line tests I get a 45ms ping.
Any advice I can follow?

I do have to say i'm having a bad ping as well lately and I never have any lag. Never.
