Well. We got switched around with who we're interviewing. But at least everyone can now go full scale game mechanics! Do your worst!
ORLY?
I want to know; Does the Crusader have pure melee skills such as the Paladin's Zeal (No elemental effect/AoE burns etc)? D2 melee PvP had a healthy, sub-culture niche that bonded a segment of the community to a point where we organized our own tournaments, complete with well-known but unwritten rules, clans and even dedicated clan websites...... all player managed.
It is these subtleties that helped make Diablo 2 so endearing to many.
What systems from other games outside the Diablo franchise have inspired you when it comes to working on D3? For instance, have you ever been playing a game like Minecraft, League of Legends, Skyward Sword, or even Torchlight 2, and thought "It would be excellent if we could incorprate <this feature> into Diablo 3?"
For Travis/Jason:
Could you give us a bit of insight into the patch development process? How many people typically work on a patch? How much "iteration" happens? Do most ideas go through more than one iteration? Given how the D3 patches have rolled out (and I'm aware that things under Jay may be different than things under Josh) do you think there is anything that can be done to expedite things a bit? As much faith as I have in you guys, it HAS been painful going for months and months and months on teasers.
Where is the "pvp soon after release"?
on a more serious note i would like to know how do they test difficulty internally, do they do it with a full decked out character with 400k dps or they just play the game normally to test it?

With the removal of the AH the problems it once solved will be reintroduced -( 3rd Party Selling Sites, Trade Window Tricks, Bots jumping in and out of games saying 'COME TO THIS SITE" etc). Do you have any ways of stopping these issues that the AH solved?
If not, at the very least can the absolute top teir (top ilvl -73?) legendary items be BOA. That way you can only FIND the absolute best legendaries and they cannot be bought/traded. Every other legendary that is not the top ilvl can be traded however!
Is this a possibility so that Diablo can become Play to Win and no longer Pay to Win?
I'm not too good at formulating good questions... but I would like to ask about Weapons.
"In Diablo 3, there are many types of weapons -Sword, Spear, Axe, Dagger, etc-. Are there any plans to make each type of item unique? Right now, the only different is their base damage and the base attack speed."
If there is no randominazation in Act 1-4 as it is in Act 5. Can we see more events in those acts that are random? I have notice lakes in Act 1 for example, Fields of Misery that stands empty, and old data showed us a ghost-girl lossing her teddybear in a well. These can come back in a patch for vanilla. Same goes with water-monsters that can be applied to the lake and water-areas.
Ha. Bagstone.
