same content and game is more casual then ever this theme really not help at all. Rewards always is crappy Cosmetics ? similar image with changed color for portrait ???? this is really useless. Played most of seasons with monk at start because single class can progress solo best and speed top 1. Why i should pick this class for speed progress at season start. Gear getting in 2 first day as monk game over only augments need to add to char. without group game is useless paragon break game. Casual game style helps botting a lot of bots at a moment not fair at all.
It's a pretty fun experience in a full group, seeing multiple rings spawn and sometimes overlap - you can get some serious benefit from them. Aside from that, it's the usual season: grind nephalem rifts/bounties and greater rifts. For me, it's harder to motivate myself to endlessly farm hoping that the one upgrade I need will drop so that I can accomplish 1-3 higher levels of greater rifts.
I personally am really enjoying this season! My monk is doing well, im almost 700 paragon and Im a casual player! I also like the face we are getting new L, a new L gem and changes to the crafted sets... it's very kool!
I'm looking forward to the new class sets and new themes as we go down further seasons, at least Blizz is trying to keep the game interesting and I think seasons 16, 17 and 18 are very fun and I have enjoyed each n every one of them!
I actually like it. Oculus+Triune power ring make all monsters explode, it's essentially a Power Pylon. I've also seen a lot of complaints about melee classes not being able to benefit from it, but I disagree: since the circles always appear next to the monster you hit, it's often too close to danger for my UE DH, but on Shadow I can use it quite often. It changes the game's pace a bit here and there and keeps it interesting.
The theme, it's simply whatever. It could be gone, I wouldn't notice. I imagine those rings could prove quite useful in higher GR pushes, where you actually group monsters and get to be in one place for a while, otherwise in speed runs they're useless (when I play WD at least). They often don't work properly as well, I noticed that they could appear for about 1 sec only, making it impossible to use it even if you tried.
The changes in items are the drive of this season, this theme is a missed opportunity for me. Because of changes in crafted sets the Grandeour theme would be soooo much better.

I think the theme is not fun at all. Tho I can't seem to bother. It could've been something way more fun though. I haven't given it any thought to be honest but the passed 2 themes were great.
Someone mentioned it being to "easy". or however he put it, and I agree. Legs rain from the sky which imo is no fun at all either.
I'd rather have a leg drop once and feel it's great, than having it drop a 1000 times and it being garbage. And, adding just another layer of higher/perfect rolls doesn't change that. I wouldn't mind if they removed headrigs gift for example...

The item changes that came with the patch is great but as for S18 theme I seldom get chance to use the rings so its neither here nor there.

i am colourblind so this season its just a lot of rings that do something good that oculus is still the brightest one and season dmg ring darkest
