The main reason I have played Diablo II LOD for so many years is because of the PvP. The PvP is what gives any game longevity. Eventually all players will beat the campaign, and something is needed to keep their interest. This for a game like Diablo, is the PvP.
If they put a player cap of four or five, PvP is going to become much more boring. Anyone who was a Diablo II LOD fan knows that 4v4's were a blast. I was even hoping for a higher player cap of something like 16. Think of how intense an 8v8 would be. Think of all the possibilities for combining classes and the strategy that could be involved in a massive battle of this sort.
So I guess my suggestion for Blizzard is: If you are going to make a player cap of four or five, can there possibly be a higher cap for PvP only games? Like games made for arena style PvPing?
I wouldnt mind a type of PvP system where you are found a match depending on the number of people in your party and your rank (if they implement such a thing). I just would really miss 3v3's and 4v4's.
I think it would be exciting to see incentive for pvp, such as a reward. Now I know it wouldn't be fair to pvm guys, so maybe pvp rewards would just be geared toward pvp mostly, but obviously could be used in pvm if you didn't have better.
Modifiers such as +dmg to humans. Modifiers mostly specific for pvp.

If they make an arena style PvP with a higher cap than 8, sweet PvP rewards such as a ranking system or something of the sort, and add a sweet emphasis on team PvP, this will be the greatest game ever made. Just think of the strategy involved with an 8v8 in diabl ii, then up that since they are concentrating more on team play in diablo iii, it will be amazing.
