Hello, ask a single question. Why not make the Turkish language?? There are many Diablo 3 players in Turkey, not knowing the language, game is very difficult. Will it be to add Turkish language for EU server?? I apologize for spelling errors.
I think Blizzard think that Turkish market is not profitable enough to make their games localized in Turkish language. That's the main problem. We are growing in gaming market tho and I don't think it will take too long to see Turkish games from Blizzard.
Just saw this reply of yours into this topic and I would like to know what is the relevance between a game's language and education of a language in schools have.
Foreign language education is a big problem in Turkey , but I don't think It is relevant to making a game translated or not based on people's chance of learning a second/third language.
I think germany , italy , all the nordish countries have perfect educational systems that allow their children to learn relevant 2nd and 3rd languages from very early ages yet still Blizzard and many other game developers translate their games and/or at least provide support in their mother languages.
With out young population , specially young gamers are hungry towards new competitive games but language barrier stops most of the people understanding/playing them.
For example , leage of legends is a great success in turkey just because their turkish support and ad campaigns. People really want to play hearthstone for example, but again language barrier kills all the interest people got.
I hope we will see turkish support in blizard games one day.

First of all, I realize (look at the time stamps) that this thread was actually 'resurrected' by a spam bot (and not the quoted poster) - such exciting times. Who knows what the future will bring, maybe soon the bots will be so smart and sensible that we won't even report them any longer .. But hey, I'll comment anyway. You've got some good points there but I'd like to comment on this:

I'll digress - well, I'm a very active WoW player. There you have Spanish, French, Italian and Russian servers specifically because those are big markets and not everyone speaks English sufficiently enough to use the English game client. There's also one single realm labeled 'English/Portuguese' but this one is more of a legacy thing because English proficiency in Portugal is in fact generally much higher than in Spain. They did this in an effort of inclusion all at once at some point, around the same time when they actually shut down a server called 'Warsong' and instead opted for dedicated Russian realms because all of the Russians were playing on the Warsong server, and they figured that there was a demand and a reason to set up dedicated Russian servers instead.
There are no Turkish realms however and likewise for many other countries where the English proficiency isn't high, a game client/server in their language isn't provided. And fact is that WoW has many more players than D2, so I think that you'd probably have to wait for a very long time for D2 to have a Turkish client. It'll not happen any time soon unfortunately.
But who knows, perhaps one day (not joking here..) AI might actually do that job so seamlessly and language barriers won't be a problem. You'd feed the AI program all of the game data and it'd just chew through it and come up with a perfect result.
And also, it's not all bad though, because if one is 'forced' to play a game that they love in a specific language - English in this instance, well, then they'll have to dive in and start learning, too. Playing computer games in English has certainly traditionally been a gateway for many through the years, I think it's safe to say that many wouldn't really know English at all or poorly at best, if it wasn't for computer games. This predicament really has had an unquantifiable impact on many gamers out there.
The other day I made some Kumpir btw, great food. Norway wouldn't be the same without Turkish cuisine
And this one is for the Norwegians out there.. Really .. 'Kumpir'? -- Jeg elsker jo komper! - Trodde ikke mine egne øyne da jeg fant ut av at klassisk tyrkisk 'bakt potet' heter faktisk 'Kumpir' .. nå står ikke verden til påske!
