It suppose be dungeons when you got the 6 pieces of the set on you. You go in and complete the tasks it needs. Then you can change the looks of the set I think.
Nah been playing on ptr set dungeons are part of seasonal challenges and you can already change the look of sets by transmog the rewards are cosmet wings. I'm not sure if console is even getting the set dungeons since they are tied in with seasons. Console Diablo is dead for me until it is online only competition and fair play don't exist.
I for one don't want to never be able to join a public game without having to worry about having my game ruined by others.
Set dungeons have nothing to do with Seasons. They're part of 2.4, not Season 5.
It's kinda sad to see that not having online only actually did trash the game, considering I always wanted an offline single player (separate characters) mode.
Granted I like the console version over the PC any day of the week. There are some things that we don't get that the PC players have. The controller feels better in my hands than the mouse and keyboard when I was playing it on PC. I do like that I can play alone if I like or with others. The fact there are modders in the game still makes my blood boil. I wished Blizzard would patch that up but 4 patches later, I don't think they will.... that's one that that is trashing the game via console.
But having friends and playing on a game mode that feels fun is going to keep me going and going with the new content coming out. I play other games too when I get burnt out on D3 but the fact I can play the game in 1080p without having a big gaming rig to play it is fun. I am really looking forward this new content.
Having played since day one on PC, then switching to ps4, I understand everything you have typed. I deal with those as well. I am only hardcore. I have some ideas for you.
1) Seasons: Since season 3 I have completely erased all Diablo 3 content on my PS4 and started my own season, mirroring the PC seasons. This was due to my first account going from 350 paragon to 900 in the matter of 5 seconds, thanks to some hacker scrub in an open game.
2) Push Yourself: every other day or week, take up a new Grift. HC characters die, all the time, so don't. I got my DH to Grift 41 before she perished, but the push from 30-41 was FUUUUNNNNNNN. (Everything before was banging my head against the wall).
3) New items: Grab new items, and switch up your builds. Once you have enough, ditch the tried and true and go for broke.
These ideas are based on how much self-discipline you have to keep this up. Once I took these 3 steps, the game opened up and I fell in love again. Good luck, have fun, don't die and if you do, try again or wait for next season.
Awesome!! I guess I haven't really lost a HC character in a long time. The last one was a DH. I was home sick for a couple days and played a lot, got the DH to max level and found Cluckeye. Was so stupid but the weapon was good for me at the time. I think I was doing a Torment bounty for the first time on that character, got to Azmodan and my wife came home, gave me a kiss but stepped in the way just long enough for the fireball to hit me and die. Since then, I've probably played it too safe.
I'm not sure I could delete all my HC characters to start over. I will definitely be trashing the one max level barb I have on core and start over there with this patch though. I really can't wait.
That being said... this is kind of a weird question, but does anyone know of a good pre-built PC that can rock D3 without breaking the bank?
Instead of opening a new thread I'll just continue here, since most don't seem to care about console.
With 2.4 out now, if anyone wants to play on PS4, add me: ares0226
Also, since I'm at work and bored.. Did anyone play a bit yesterday? Find anything/do anything cool? I did a few bounty maps. I love the new challenges and even found one I couldn't complete. You had to find a bound portal or something and open a chest. A whole bunch of borrowers came out and you had to kill 6. I could only get one! Though, I was on my crusader that I had just got to 70 and was trying to figure out how to set him up.
I did find a legendary I had never seen; the Corrupted Ashbringer? Very cool effect on it.
