We allready know all the skill trees of the 3 revealed classes, but we only know what those skill trees are focused at in the case of the barb and the wiz.
I mean if the WD have 3 skill trees he must have 3 different kinds of gamplay right ?
What we know right know is:
Plague Skills - Plague of Toads, Lacust Swarm, Spider Statue
Spirit Skills - Skull of Flame, Soul Havest, Firebats, Mass Confusion.
Voodoo Skills - Summon Zumbie Dog, Sacrifice, Horrify, Wall of Zombies.
Based at those skills my guess is:
Plague Skills = Poison damage tree.
Spirirt Skills = Fire/Arcane(?) damage tree plus mind control.
Voodoo Skills - Summoning and summon interaction skill plus fear.
It sounds a bit strange and limited imo. He only have summons from one tree, so the other 2 lacks a good survival tool like the zombies to distract the enemy. Also i can't imagine a tree filled with poison skills. It looks VERY repetitive and boring... I just think the WD, right now, are very empty compered to the wiz and the barb.
So my guess is the Wd have many hidden features we don't know yet. It also explains why he didin't get any passives in the demo: the devs didn't had finished the skill trees.
What do you guys think?
To me, Witch Doctor sounds more like a far-distance attacker. He isn't good at physical attack at all, and if he has more spell in the future, I would appreciate it

I don't know the complete validity of this site: http://diablo.wikia.com/wiki/Witch_Doctor
but it shows the skill trees and supposed known skills for the Witch Doctor.
Both Zombie and Voodoo seem to have summons although zombie looks far superior for summoning, while Spirit seems to have more active crowd control and buffs.

This this a pretty uggly threat necro...
Anyay, when i wrote this it was last YEAR's april. Alot of stuff has changed. And the cool thing is: most changes fits my and kotanax option. They removed the pure poison treee and created a poison/fire tree! Also, the spirirt tree was vastly improved with more offensive skills.
Imo the WD has a wholçe new feature: ground control. Every tree has this skill type (zombie has wall of zombies and grasp of the dead), spirit has spirit barrage and voodoo has poison cloud, corpse spiders, fire pit and even plague of toads can be considered a low leght ground control. In total he has like 7 skills of this type.

i think the WD is pretty cool
i dont know if the poison is in a diff tree though
the poison and fire could be a skill tree possibility lol
the curse like abilities could be by themself =3
i like the WD somewhat cuz they resemble the necromancer in some ways from D2
the necromancer was my fav class lol
so far in d3 i like the WD and barb but i also like the wizard a lot too but in order id have to go barb WD Wizard lol
the WD is different than the necromancer though cuz the minions are expendable
he relies on his own skills in magic casting than he does minions
so im thinking he is the kind of class where you dont just do one tree
hes a good class to mix the skills up
hes more of a tactical class than the other 2
so basically the WD is cool but i think they need to revise the looks a little bit
i believe he is what blizzard originally intended the necromancer to be like
Be my Buddy =^.^=
