It's a free to play arena styled 3v3 game. A relatively new game where all players are on equal grounds from when they register. The only thing you can buy in the game is outfits, weapons, titles, and such that are just for looks. It has its own in game tournament system as well as solo/2v2/3v3 ranked ladders.
At the moment they've unlocked all the bloodlines for everyone to play for everyone to try. Signing up with the link below will give you 5k free blood coins to use. Make sure to do the tutorial and and complete the easy achievements for even more blood coins.
I played it for a while but it never quite stuck with me. Every match felt exactly the same, and the attacks didn't feel very thought through. I mean you could find a simple projectile damaging attack on almost every bloodline (at least those I tried). Also, the blood coins you get per match is way too little to feel like you are actually progressing towards getting a skin.
Considering that it spawned from a school project and is their first game, I have to admit that it is quite good though. It is a good and simple concept, but it is too simple for me.
It's really a strictly pvp game so I don't know how you expect matches to feel different besides team composition and maps. However they do have different game modes such as capture the artifact and conquest.
As far as the simple projectile damaging attack, well what game would have heroes without projectile attacks >.<, as far as them being the same that's not true with the current bloodlines.
As for the attacks not feeling different hmm, I'm not sure how you could feel this way. Every bloodline feels extremely different to me but I guess everyone has a different opinion.
I'm not sure how long ago you played but they have now added achievements such as completing the tutorial, adding a friend, becoming a member of a clan, linking to your fb, joining the solo ladder which all give a huge amount of blood coins for the time it takes to do them(usually a few seconds). If getting a skin is what you desire, you can get any skin relatively quiclky with the 5k blood coins you get for joining and the double blood coin gain they have going on at the moment(on average you can earn around 500 blood coins in 30 minutes). By completing simple achievements you can gain over 11k blood coins. They also give you bonus coins just for playing the ladder.
5k for joining
11k for the simple achievements
you're already at 16k blood coins in a relatively short amount of time. You can almost buy any skin in the game excluding the gold skins that are for the hardcore :>
The good thing about this game is that the developers actually care and listen to the community
I played I played for probably about a week casually with a friend (like 3 months ago), maybe 50 matches total. There were achievements, and blood coin progression was good initially, but then after about 2 days neither of us got any achievements. Not that we ever looked at what was required for them, we both wanted to simply win since that should always be the objective, should it not? We both felt that it got really repetitive in more than one way, so we stopped.
I guess the best way I can describe it is that we didn't really feel like playing any of the bloodlines. We got to test 8 of them, and we liked them for a few games, but eventually they all become somewhat dull and boring, so we stopped. It just never quite reached our expectations. It was fun to try, but nothing else.
Okay but this thread is for people who play/are interested in playing :/ I wish you would have a better experience with it but I just think it just might not be your type of game. Everything its meant to be it does well
I only talked about the achievements because you said it was too hard to get any costumes so I was just showing it isn't. They just recently had all bloodlines unlocked so people could be able to see which they like and theres currently 21 different ones so yeh.
I'm not sure what your expectations were :/ I think it's really unique and very competitive, I'm not sure what more you could want from an arena styled game like this o.o
As for being repetitive, which game isn't ;/? I've played d2, LoL, HoN, and mass fps style games. I don't see how those are any less repetitive lol.
I think that the best way I can put it is that BLC is extremely simple. Two teams, two sets of bloodlines, kill the other team. Games like D2 and and AoS games like LoL has items, levels and other such systems that helps make players different from each other. I knew from the start that BLC was probably way too simplistic and focused on competitive simple player vs player combat, but I had to try it out. I bet it is really fun if you like to climb ladders and stuff like that though, or for some other reason, I don't know, I didn't quite like it
I do recommend that everyone tries it out though as it is certainly the only game of its kind.
I agree, but to be fair d2 really wasn't that diverse after a while. Characters either go 1 build per skill tree. For instance, no one built a fire druid and if they did they had no chance competing pvp. It was always 163/99 ele druid. Of course the build could vary from pelt/branch or circ/hoto but it was usually very similar heh but I do understand what you mean.

Really looking for some people to play with
If I had a ping lower than 350-400, I'd still be playing
