So, I was planning on getting a new computer at least when the release the system requirements for D3, but one of my monitor hinges on my laptop broke and I am gonna need to replace it earlier than planned. Anyone have any suggestions on computers, I know that I am limiting myself with a laptop but I need one. The portability is a must have for too many reasons to write. I was thinking about either an AlienWare or a Mac as I need something with good graphics and can go heavy duty as I plan on using this besides for games but for programs as well. I work with Photoshop and Autodesk Maya and other heavy programs like that (I use the really powerful school computers for heavy work but use my laptop say during vacation or at home) So a powerful CPU and graphics/video card would be needed as well.
Any suggestions as what to get? As I said I am interested in an Alienware or Mac but on a really tight budget.
Ram and hard drive isn't so necessary as I work with computer parts and can pick up any thing for wholesale. If you can advise some models to work with, that would be great.
Thanks

I agree with feminism. I don't think that it's right that for every dollar a man makes, a women gets 70 cents. Why do I only get 30 cents and some chick gets the rest?
I was actually thinking about building my own laptop, as I said I get most parts wholesale. But for a laptop, at least whats a good model to pick up then to which I can add to it.

I'm looking at the Lenovo W520 right now, but I'm a bit confused about the Quadro 1000M, I have no idea what kind of a VC that is and there's not much info on it.
to make it simpler, what are some models that would be good to look into?
