For years, Blizzard's events and games have sold out straight from the market shelves and web stores in less time than it takes you to blink your eyes. Now, it seems, Blizzard is offering many ways, via partnerships with other businesses and organizations, to get to the mega-BlizzCon this year with little more to pay than travelling expenses.
Blizzard has teamed-up with renowned computer hardware developer Razer to offer even more of these chances. However, there is a bit of a twist.
In order to win the chance to enter their Grand Prize contest (a complete trip for two to the 2009 BlizzCon, including board and travel), you must first complete a series of quests. However, even each of these still has its own prize, with quest one offering ten chances to win the Razer Deathadder? Gaming Mouse and quest two offering a mini-prize of a chance out of ten to win a RazerGear? Messenger Bag & Sleeve.
Entry in to the final contest requires that you have participated in each of these quests.
The Grand Prize includes the following: 2 (two) BlizzCon tickets, 2 (two) economy plane tickets, hotel reservations, and $300 dollars spending money!

Additionally, we'd like to announce our latest update to the Forum Rules. The updates were fairly subtle and inconsequential (the majority being simple grammatical / spelling fixes). However, everyone should note the new addition to the rules. It will be enforced as of July 19, 2009. It is your responsibility to be aware of the rules.
E4 - Deliberate False Redirection
While this rule may have a complex title, it in itself is pretty simple. Do not deliberately make a link redirect to something other than what people have been led to believe it goes to. This includes all 'Rick-Roll' videos, all videos in a similar vein to 'Rick-Rolling' and any and all attempts to advertise through deliberate deception. If you want to post a link, name it appropriately.

For all who have waited the time has come pick up your axes, swords, spears, and bows the awakening of hell is upon us protect sanctuary to your dieing breath
The quests aren't in-game, if that's what you mean. If you're talking about what series they're based on, I believe you would have to sign-up and do them to find that out. You can see the names of the two quests here.

What a creative way to promote their sponsors. I'm guessing anyone without Facebook or Twitter couldn't see the messages. Thanks for the pass, Majpain. I don't use Twitter. Blizzcon here I come!!
