So I am struggling to do anything higher than gr65 in solo. I tried several builds, but basically everything dies to slow if I go any higher. Not to forget that you get one shotted if any critter takes a peak at you. I tried a couple of builds now and ended up with the Razor Teeth build.

I know, rings and amulet suxx long time, but I never struggled so hard with reaching that tier 70 milestone with any other class.
Does anyone have any suggestions in changes to do, what to focus on OR what build is the easiest to push past 70?
This is my first season as nec, so it's kinda new to me.

You may want to try Lord Fluffy's Blight Spear build, the variant with Traveler's pledge combo.

Can't remember but I think I did either 80 or 85 with about your level of paragons and a little better stuff.
You should at least be able to reach 70-75 once your gems are leveled.
The build is incredibly fun to play, except of course when you have downtime with land of the dead and you need to kit.
It's a speed build, but it can be hardened.
I feel you are too defensive, you may want to try without health gems and such and go offensive for monsters to get destroyed faster.
