So I just feel like Monks can tank a bit more but anyways the damage is still not increased as it should be... Just "seven sides" procs where increased... and what about new leges that increases sweeping wind to 1 minute?
Disappointing. Monkhasalways been chasing after other classes, and the overall design is rather poor without much imagination.
While upgrading some skills to be on par with other classes, other skills got nerfed. Last time, WoL and MoC got nerfed and only recently WoL got some improvement. 1 dex = 1 armor is just a lazy solution and is what we should have long time ago and it is no better than any other class, but OWE get immediately nerfedto Harmony, whichis rather weak and take a lot of secondary slots to get resist. Solution: Get the design team for WD and Crusader to work on the monk.

Just starting leveling a Monk from level 1 to check it, and found a cool build with perma freeze using exploding palm and a lot of regen... Anyways, I don't think that it would be an ending build, but still feels that the DPS really sucks and the new leges are sucky.
I think what monk really need is to have a HUGE attack speed, including Daibos usage... Maybe 3-4 attacks per second and that would solve everything.

significantly increased proc coefficient that's good, but this brings wht kind of effect in game, i can't feel any.
Who runs SSS without it having 6-8 second CD?
The point is the SSS is not so good in PTR, expecially in the great rifts.
The common fist strike is now critting more than 20mil~30mil damage better than your 6-8 second cd sss & having the life per hit can make you tougher in great rifts.
Read the PTR notes, but haven't tried it yet. I don't get the whining about dex = armor buff and reworking of OWE. Both were desperately needed changes for monk gearing. Now we can actually try out different gear sets and off pieces without losing bunch of All Resist, as long as the new piece has any secondary resist on it. And "the imba OWE" was the only thing getting the lucky ones with close to perfect matching OWE resist close to other melee classes survivability because the dex giving dodge sucked bad compared to armor from Str. I'll admit that dex = armor wasn't the most imaginative solution, but it does good job of getting the value to equal level with other main stats, and imo that's all that is required from it. I'll rather have a quick and decent solution than endless balancing of some new imaginative solution.

Monk is now the only charactor that have to face monsters in such close range & taking so much damage without the dodge
just try in greater rift, everything will be clear.

PTR just launched and many features have not been implemented, i agree, but BLZ should know wht will happen to the upcoming monk.

But from 1100%--->9775---->877%, i can feel the nerf sh*t.
