Has anyone figured out a real downside of being a werewolf?
I haven't found any yet EXCEPT a few inconveniences. You can't loot while werewolf, you're stuck in 3rd person view (which I dislike for combat), you can't block any attacks, and you can't open your inventory whatsoever.
Edit: Also, those with the blood of the werewolf can't gain resting bonus', i.e. if you are able to turn into a werewolf (doesn't have anything to do with if you are or aren't currently in werewolf form).

Yeah, I haven't found any serious downsides to it, but I haven't found any huge upsides either. I cured myself just cause I didn't like the combat.

At the very least I'll keep it for 100% disease resistance, and just not use beast form. Though, I kinda like the transformation, even if it's not good for fighting dragons lol.
So I am fairly new t the elder scrolls and I have few questions. First, I play on the ps3 I know how to favorite things but can I assign like a hotswap to I'm at work right now and don't have the book to see in there. Second, sleeping Is there any reason to do it? If so how long is just enough? Third, I want to go see the greybeards but that damn frost troll kicks my ass any tips/tricks to kill it? And lastly is their a trader I can sell literally anything from my inventory? I've noticed that none of the traders will buy my dragon bones. Btw I am currently level 12. Any info/help would greatly help I am really enjoying the game so far!

Lots of questions you have here, so I'll just answer a few. As far as vendors go, most only want to buy things similar to what they sell. Blacksmith people will buy ingots, armor, and weapons. Potion dealers want to buy ingredients, food, and potions. There are General Goods vendors however, that will literally buy any type of item (not-stolen) that you would like to sell. FYI you might not want to sell your dragon bones/dragon scales, because they're used to smith Dragon Armor. Hope this info was helpful.
Is there any way to craft arrows? At the forge you can only make armor and weapons. I havent done anything with the mills yet, im going to go find one and chack that now.

I'm pretty sure you can't make arrows, sadly. I wish it was an option of smithing, or maybe some fletcher option from another trainer? Anything would be better than having to check 3-4 different vendors so I can get a full (50-ish) supply of Glass Arrows.
Hmmm, no this issent what i was talking about mate, its a thing size of a table, when i click on it it says im missing the component, this video has i think litle to do with it, altough it was in the same dungeon wtf :-o
Yeah, I found the table you were talking about. I believe the table was made of the Dwemer metal, it had three (I think) aqua green stones in it, very much like the various ones on the aerodrome machine, and it had a Dwemer button on the front (just like the ones used to rotate the target crystals). I too have no idea what it is for, but I don't think it has anything to do with that immediate quest (maybe later in the quest line?).
I killed one dragon and looted the body but it wouldn't do the shiny "gimme ma soul" effect. Is this a bug or do some dragons not give a soul? it's like my 7th and hasn't happened before.
That just happened to me too. I thought all dragons gave you their souls, but this one didn't.

That happened to me as well, so i reloaded and faught that same dragon, except i got the soul, im guessing its a glitch.

I've killed maybe 20 dragons total so far, but 3 didn't give me their soul. Not sure why, but it doesn't seem like a big deal to me. I've got maybe 10 souls sitting there collecting dust with no Thu'um's to spend them on.
Anyone done the quest Boethia's Calling? After i sacrifice someone she just keeps repeating herself when im gonna talk to her. Think its a bug...
Did you get the next step in the quest? She tells you to go kill her current champion, cause she's "tired of him". If you successfully sacrificed someone and she's NOT prompting you the next step, then it's bugged. Also, did you make sure to kill them with the sacrificial dagger?
I did not get the next step no. She just keeps repeating the same words. And i killed the sacrifice (Lydia) with the dagger. I googled it and another dude got the same bug aswell. Just sucks that only a few get the bug, but most dont. Maybe that way it wont be fixed either.

I've noticed you need to loot them to get the soul. Doesn't seem to apply to all of them though, not sure why.

I loot every dragon I kill, and still haven't gotten maybe 3 souls. Not a big deal though, the way I figure it is there's an unlimited number of dragons (since they can spawn/respawn) and a limited number of Thu'um's. I'll get 'em one way or another.

Maybe (this is a hunch) the reason it bugged is because you tried to sacrifice Lydia? I killed the manly chick who you fistfight with, in the back of The Bannered Mare (Whiterun) with the sacrificial dagger & had no problems. Dauroth killed ~someone~ without the dagger and had no problems, but maybe it wasn't Lydia. I'm not sure, just trying to guess at the problem at the moment.

Thanks for the reply. I thought of the same and that COULD be the reason, but i doubt it since she is just another companion you can have. Anyways i dont have any saves just before i sacrificed her, so hopefully it will get fixed in a patch or something. What reward am i missing out on from the quest line?...

No problem, all you're missing out on is a "Daedric Artifact" called Ebony Mail. Here's all the information about it; http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Ebony_Mail Daedric armor (and probably Dragonscale/Dragonplate) is better than it after you use a Grand Soulstone to put whatever enchant you like. That's my opinion though!
Actually, what I meant was, it worked with a different weapon other than the dagger. I could've used something else, and I think it would still work.
Mind if I ask you this, who did you sacrifice? Was it Lydia or someone else?
No, it wasn't Lydia, I hired some random Mercenary from Riften, I can't remember his name though, since he didn't last long.
Guys, did you make sure the companion is strapped to the sacrificial altar?
Haha glad to see someone other than me picked up a temporary follower in order to sacrifice them. Lydia means the world (of Tamriel lol) to me, and I always make sure she's alright. I'd marry her if I could, but everyone says that it wont work for various reason. Oh well, she'll still follow me until the end!
