Like seniri mentioned, you can also get Half Life 2: Deatmatch,LoastCoast and Portal for free.

Cheers
SC2 beta only $300.
On a serious note if anyone has a PS3 they are running Burnout Paradise full game with ALL DLC for only $30. Great game to just pick up and play.

Sadly Lost Coast is only about 10 minutes long or so, less if you know what you're doing. And that Portal download is just some of the tutorial, you don't even get to control the orange portal in that "First Slice" demo.
Deathmatch, however, is awesome and I highly recommend it. I downloaded it a week or so ago and have been having lots of fun on there ever since.

Fairly sure Lost Coast wasn't mean to be an actual full game or anything it's just a demo for either new lighting or new physics or something, can't quite remember.
Would've been nice if that was full Portal and such for free. Too bad I already own it all :|

It was to promote the new HDR lighting they added into the Source engine. Also, they wanted to see if the commentary system was something they should do more often.

I'm lucky that I've got an ATI card
Yeah, just a short demo, not even a particularly fun little level. That's why I don't suggest it. The deathmatch is indeed worth the time to download though and I strongly suggest it. I'm getting a bit tired of it now but it was free and I put close to 40 hours on it.
They have the same deal for Nvidia cards as well.
A game I'd like to find a deal on is Modern Warfare 2, but sadly with awesome sales, it will probably stay full price for quite awhile. I'm just not willing to spend 50 or 60 bucks on a game aside from something that I was looking forward to for years(i.e. D3).
spellforce 2 platnium addition for like 7.50, orig 30. it's a action rpg, i've never played it.. has anyone?
Yea im also wondering if anyone have ever played this game..hmm. I got attracted to it when i saw the Genre:Action/RPG. Judging from the screenshots the game looks pretty plain but still it may be fun
Also i found out a few games that you can get for free on Steam. These are just a few nice ones.
Here's another Steam deal that I didn't catch for some reason:
Quote from "Seniri" »
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is 75% off on Steam, going for just shy of $8. I've heard it's good and will most likely get it, there's a demo if that sounds good.
I looked into the game a bit and it's more of a tactical/squad shooter rather than a "lone wolf" type. Graphics are nice and the gameplay seems solid, although I watched a couple reviews and they were not especially positive regarding the allied or enemy AI.
I'm gonna skip this one since I tend to prefer more of a lone wolf type FPS(Delta Force 2 comes to mind). However, for those of you that like your FPS games to have some more tactics and squad managing, this looks like a great deal for $8.
Steam has a great deal right now. They have a bundle with 2 Deus Ex games(Game of the year edition and Invisible War) and 3 Hitman games(Silent Assassin, Blood Money and Codename 47) all for about $17 or $5 each if you buy separately.
It looks like they plan on having big Square Enix sales each day this work week(M-F).
I got the Hitman Trilogy on PS2 for $20 awhile back, and although they can feel a little clunky at times, the games are pretty good stealth/action games. My brother loved Deus Ex, so if you're into FPS games with some RPG elements, I strongly suggest it.
Unfortunately that deal is already gone. They are changing them daily but didn't get around to posting the Monday deal when I checked yesterday. Now they're on to the Tuesday deal which is Order of War, Battlestations Midway and Battlestations Pacific for $30.
I don't really know anything about those ones other than that they look ok and got mediocre reviews. I think Order of War is a strategy or RTS and the other two are flight games, not sure.
Well it looks like they're still behind(or working on a very different timezone). The Wednesday deal is still up so if anyone wants Tomb Raider: Anniversary, Legend and Underworld along with The Last Remnant(some generic looking JRPG?) for about $38, don't wait.
Personally I've never been a big Tomb Raider fan, though I've only played a small amount of the first one. I know some people just love those games.
Just letting everyone know that Batman: Arkham Asylum is $25 on Steam right now or $22.00 bundled with Just Cause. Yeah, it's cheaper with an extra game tacked on.
I haven't played it, but have heard wonderful things about Batman: Arkham Asylum. It may be worth looking into for those that want a good beat-'em-up. Can't say I know anything about Just Cause.
The Final Fantasy XI collection is only 7.50 as well, though I don't know anything about it other than the fact that it's an MMO.
Anyway, it seems you have to pay monthly fees or something:

Included with your purchase of FINAL FANTASY XI is 30 days of free time. The subscription for this game requires a valid credit card that supports Verified by Visa® or MasterCard SecureCode®.
Anyway, it seems you have to pay monthly fees or something:
Bah, monthly fees are lame. I wasn't considering it anyway(just not an MMO fan) but still, it seems like if you spend money on the game, you shouldn't have to keep paying to use something you already own.
Oh well, the Batman deal is still good for anyone that wants a beat-'em-up.
I haven't actually bought much on Steam, but I'm really liking it. They have some awesome deals.
I bought that THQ pack you said a few weeks ago and I liked it. Red Faction one and Guerilla are two pretty cool games, and I'll probably move on to Dawn of War in a little while.
They do have an awful amount of deals, I like it. I have heard that Arkham Asylum is cool, and it has a MetaCritic score of 91.
