That rep block was added a pretty long time ago.
I noticed it a while back on Seth and Jetrall, haven't seen any others with it thus far.
And actually, I may have to take you up on that offer.
In serious need of some marble right now, was contemplating pillaging a dude with about 4x my score due to his massive fucking stash. Seriously, over 100k marble just sitting around.
*shakes head*
I'm still in the middle of nowhere though, so as long as you don't mind a long transport, I could use some marble.
Anything you need?
And the patch is actually pretty decent, my gold production shot upwards when it hit. Everyone else in my alliance was bitching about how much their navies lost them, but thankfully I had neglected to mass ships.
New combat system is decent, the morale has a massive bug in it though. You heard about the spearman exploit?
edit: woops, forgot to include my cords. 44:59 is my capital.

I hope no one detects all that stuff I'm sending you. They have these rules about just sending people lots of resources. It's really stupid.
But no, I don't mind a long transport. I got plenty of trade ships to spare at any given time. Make sure you can hold 25k marble. That's all the spare marble I got at the moment.
Already spent em on an upgraded town hall (Level 17!) and an upgraded palace (Level 5).
But yeah, when I first saw that the to-trip would take 12 or so hours, it blew my fucking mind.
Gonna need to get my gov estates up to level 5 before making my next colony, though.
Well on my way, doing some pretty intense pillaging right now.
Found a guy with about 40k combined resources, completely undefended.
Going back for round 2 once my ships return...

Yeah farming will take you far. As far as types of cities to have, with a total of seven including your capital, I recommend having 3 marble, 2 wine, 1 glass and 1 sulfur.
I'm almost considering having another glass colony.
Seems to be the most sought after trade good when buying, at least it seems that way with how quickly my offers get bought up.
Might make a purely wood town, I always seem to have a shortage of it.

You know, with this new patch, I actually feel glass has been lessened in value. You can no longer purchase techs with glass which for me, was the remaining purpose to even having glass. Granted, with the new military I've had to spend some glass on upgrading units I previously would never have purchased, but overall, it now has fewer functions than before.
I guess if I had a lumber colony, that would just be my third marble city because if all marble cities are harvesting at full capacity, eventually you do start to have much more marble than you can spend in ratio to your lumber. So you can always just turn one of your city's production off at that point.
No, no. It might be me. It took me several days after the patch to even figure out how the Research now works. Cause now you research for points and when you accumulate enough, you then purchase the tech, which may feel like purchasing it with glass, but you got those points through the your Academies only. Ya know what I mean?
Yeah if you guys wish to continue pillaging, it is now essential to have siege machines. I know it's different, but it is more realistic when you think about it. Other units too you'll find are impervious to certain kinds of attacks so you really need to diversify your army.
i had 3 rams. i apparently thought that was enough to bring down a wall without defenders. but realistically the wall is a living organism that shoots at me >.>
and those spear guys suck really bad.

Zhar, I'm still happy to send you more resources if you want them. Are you getting along okay with the new patch?

Never knew they had rules about that though... kinda retarded.
But oh well.
Speaking of trade ships, is there any way to increase the maximum of 160?
Siaynoq's Playthroughs
For some reason I had it in my head that the gold would cap at a certain price eventually.
Thus far, I've got 45 ships.
Sure you don't need anything?
I've got 10k of wine, sulfur, crystal and wood to spare if you need anything.
Siaynoq's Playthroughs
But yeah, turning down wine for a while does sound like a decent plan.
Just swimming in that shit right now...

Zhar it's crazy sending you resources. That was like nearly a two day round trip. LOL
Use those resources wisely!

Have you seen the research "Experiments"?
Either I've got the reading comprehension skills of a 6 year old on a crack binge, or that research lets us buy research points.
I'd hope so, anyways. Seems kinda pointless to have glass only being used heavily by an exhaustible form of research (unit upgrades).

Just got occupation.
Now need somebody to occupy....
Gotta go pick a fight.
