ok i saw the thread of guild wars or wow. and i was surprised that alot of people said guild wars.
so im wondering if there is anyone interested in playing guild wars? i still have it installed and have gone on it from time to time. and i guess i could give it another shot if there are actually people online that want to play.
I may get Guildwars when I get my next paycheck and everything payed for the month...
Is it really worth it? I heard you can only get to level 20...
Definitely start out with just the basic game.
The level cap of 20 isn't really the problem the game just seems boring and lacks so much to me. I tried to play it again a while back, installed it all patched it up and played for a whole 20 minutes.
and the thing i disliked about the game was the way you attacked. where you didnt really have to hold a button down or keep clicking to attack. it was just a click once and watch attack. ya you got spells and stuff. but that was really the reason i disliked it.
I got like a lvl 15 necro/warrior, it just got boring to me. Dunno why.
I've a developed GW character, and the game is painfully repetitive at times. There's not a lot to it as well. It's more functional than WoW (AKA: less bugs), but outside of PVP and the campaign there's not much too it.

You know, levels aren't everything in every RPG... If you like the design of EQ or WoW then you probably don't want to bother with GW.

Tiny content is a problem, even with the release of EoTN. I'm waiting for GW 2, though I'm cautious of GW2 since Cantha and Elona are cut out, and I'll outright refuse to play it if GW1 players happen to have an actual gameplay advantage.
I thought about installing this game again, since I'm slowly running out of games to play. I only have the original game, though.
I loved my Mesmer, even though leveling her got to be a pain. I guess that's because I never partied with anyone except the NPCs. My Warrior/Monk was pretty rad, though.

I do not mean an unnatural calmness.
