I thought this game was great, i don't own it but i've been playing a lot at a friends house. The new warrant system is much better, you can get ejected from your windshield if you hit a wall fast enough, you can get drunk (which is actually a lot of fun trying to walk around/drive while really drunk) and thats only a percent of the stuff you can do. i would give this game a 9.5/10 i wish you could fly planes, then again you can fly a helicopter which has guns on it, i change my rating to 10/10 just because i like to blow shit up.
How did they work around the ol' "prostitute in a convertible ordeal"?
I've never tried it, but I don't think they had to. Even if you have a car with a top, you can still see the action going down inside very clearly.
This isn't like last games, where the car would just be shaking ... on GTA 4 (there's obviously no penis), but the actions you pay for are acted out ... pretty well, I might add. So even if you have a top, you can watch it just the same with a twist of the camera.
I've never been a fan of the GTA series. Is there anything else exceptional about the game that might warrant a purchase? How might you rate the replayability?
I walked into my cousins room the other day and her boyfriend was playing GTA4 and he was bowling. I asked him what he was doing and he said was on a date. Is it really that detailed? What do you guys rate GTA4 on detail?
You can go on dates to multiples places. You can see cabaret, stand up comedy, go bowling, play darts, shoot pool, get dinner. Afterwards, if the dates go well and the girl likes you enough, you can go back to her place and bone the crap out of her.
As far as replay value goes, I would say its not all that high. The missions will be the same on each play through. I do think there is enough content to get at least 50 hours out of it if you want to try everything, which almost eliminates a replay value.
I don't understand how the replay value matters to you while you still play Diablo 2 and do the same things over and over and over hundreds of times.
True, but replay value has been pretty important to me ever since I got Assassin's Creed. I got so tired of doing the same thing over and over again in that game. At least in diablo 2 there is the chance of having any item in the game drop at any moment.

If I've played Diablo through more than once or twice, obviously it had good replay value. But my reasons for replaying Diablo are pretty different than why I would replay any other game.
I played Mass Effect all the way through about four times. So I consider that game as having good replayability. Even Half Life 2 I played through a few times. So for each different game, what makes me want to replay it can be different. Perhaps this renders it a moot question anyway and since you and I have different tastes in games.
Getting a slightly better weapon and changing your stats doesn't warrant replaying the entire game on any difficulty after normal. I never got a character above level 42 because it was just plain boring.
I got one of every character to at least 30 and then I never played again because there was absolutely nothing I was going to see or do that I hadn't seen or done multiple times before.

Pretty funny, actually.

However, games like assassins creed dont give you these two options.
