To Freddy; I completely agree =D I hate Athene with a passion, and refuse to watch his stuff. I don't know much about Kripp or w/e, but thank god he at least got world first HC inferno diablo kill, and not athene. We'd NEVER hear the end of it then.
He's just a big troll, I don't like his kind of trolling. I still think it's just a rouge (help me out here, "rouge" as in putting up a masquerade, not what it seems. Is rouge the correct word or am I just spelling it wrong? Cause I've googled it and came up ampty handed...).
Did you guys see that vid of him claiming his account has been hacked and all his shit was gone and asking his gullible followers to donate gold or money to get back up on his feet? Fucking ass imo. Even if 80% of his fans thought it was funny and had no problem donating some of their gold/money, it's a really cheap way to get help with D3.
its nasty, ugly & smells. u want to pick it, but you hope it just goes away if u ignore it
that was as unnecessary as it was hilarious
so we don't like the athene guy, ok
Lol quite the adequate metaphor Freddy! That smiley on the end of Nacho's post is so fitting. It's such a devious smiley...looks like you're plotting to overthrow him, cause douche.
Say whatever you want about Einstein, but he killed space exploration in one relativistic blow with the speed of light limit... if someone finds a way to overcome that limit, then space exploration will get more interesting in just a few years
Lol do you guys remember that incident last year Sep when scientists at CERN "discovered" Neutrinos that travelled faster than the speed of light? (Link). Apparently the neutrinos travelled 60 nanoseconds (60x10^-9 seconds) faster then the speed of light would have from CERN (Switzerland) to INFN (Italy). I haven't thought about it till now to check if they disproved it by now, but it seems like they officially announced their mistake earlier this month.
Fun fact: One nanosecond is to one second as one second is to 31.7 years. So 60 nanoseconds is to one 60 seconds as 60 seconds is to 1902 years. (I hope this is right ). So that just put it in perspective how little difference there actually was in the results. So theoretically, if this was true, we (neutrinos) can travel in time, which will be awesome.
I wonder what the net big scientific breakthrough will be...I hope it's time travel or teleportation.
Teleportataion would be preferable to me. I don't like to travel that much, but I enjoy being at my destination.
Lol yeah. "Just close your eyes sir, it will only take a sec." That's what I think the teleportation stuardress in the future will say before you teleport to your destination.
The thing about teleportation, that many people don't really know about, is that you don't just go from point A to point B. Well yes you do, but what happens between point A and B is what really is gonna make teleportation difficult.
Your whole body's molecular structure will need to be broken down, your body's info will need to be send to point B and then with your body's info, get reconstructed at point B with pinpoint precision. So we'll have to build a machine that's able to replicate the human body's molecular structure 100% correctly before we can successfully use teleportation.

Sooooo much testing will be done to perfect it, then when it does work they'll have to gain the trust of whom they'll provide it for and so forth from there.
Once we do perfect teleportation, holy shit. The things it will open us up to is limitless.

I think the word you're looking for is rogue. Rouge is something women wear on their cheeks.
I always thought that stargate system is more realistic than FTL travel or startrek-ish teleportation, it takes a lot of work to set up a stargate and it's limited in it's functionality (as we could only go where a stargate already is) that's closer to how the universe works, it never let us do things the easy way
Well Star Trek's technology is supposed to be very fantastical as the whole show portrays a very optimistic and ideal vision of the future. But yes, idea of how the stargate works is pretty interesting. As if there are waypoints throughout the galaxy and you can't just bypass anyone but you have to stop at each one if it's on the way to your final destination.
As for wormholes....we actually do believe they exist. But they are very very tiny. Like smaller than atoms. And it is unlikely we may ever possess the technology to enlarge them big enough to walk through. Stephen Hawking talks about this in that new documentary of his. It's like, if you had a wormhole large enough to walk through it would almost instantly destroy itself through radiation feedback. Well, I think at least a wormhole through time would do that. I don't know about one through space. However, if the wormhole is linking to points in space from very far away then the points in time seem inferred anyway. Who knows!?
So, I killed two guys in a row and they dropped the exact same helm, with the exact same armor and durability, the exact same 2 properties and the exact same values on both of those properties. Either I bet the odds (the harder-than-winning-the-lottery odds) or I bugged the loot system.

Congrats on the new name Deathkiss! It's synonymous to Succubus so I'll easily remember it!

@Vegas Cool! I'm going to do that here.
@FreddyBenson I hope when it comes back online, everything is there.
@Damaero I've been out a few days and never got to really thank you for the name change. I appreciate it!
Freddy it's Blizzard, you know they'll fix it. Either the sales will go through or they'll do refunds.
