So I'm almost done with Season 2 of Game of Thrones.
Am I supposed to like Cersei Lannister? I don't.
No you're not, you're required to like Tirion (the Imp), Daenerys Targaryen and Aria Stark. And to dislike, Jaimie Lannister and Joffrey Baratheon... the rest is up to you
I love Game of Thrones discussions, but at the same time I hate them because I don't want to give away any spoilers. All I can really say is read the books, if you enjoy the show you'll enjoy the books a lot more since they go more in-depth with the characters. You don't really get much time in Season 1 to love Ned Stark as much as you do in the books. Jaime and Cersei become bigger characters than they are in the beginning by the 4th book. All I can say is all Jaime cares about is having sex with Cersei. He's not really a good or bad guy.
Arya is one of my favorite characters, they butchered some of her story in the show due to time constraints, though. Her time in Harrenhal is much different in the books than Season 2. Even the deaths she asks from Jaqen are different except the last.
Daenerys grows on you. Her story gets really good once she focuses on her goal to get to Westeros. At the beginning shes more of a spoiled brat and I didn't like her.
So I had an experience this morning that I want to share. I know it's kind of vague.. and maybe my story won't be that interesting.. but I feel like sharing it anyway.
----
I'm currently living with my dad, and just the recent week I was starting to have trouble waking up with my alarms, to the point where he would ask me if I was awake since he knew I had to leave pretty soon. He left the other day for a trip.
I don't work weekends so I usually stay up a bit later / sleep in but this morning at 6am sharp, which is usually when I'm already at work, I heard quite vividly my dad ask if I was awake. It was so clear that I literally woke up and sat at the edge of my bed and said "yeah I'm awake."
It took a second to realize what happened but it sent shivers down my spine when I recalled that my dad wasn't in town, so I looked around the house and it of course was empty (thankfully..).
Kind of stupid I know.. but it freaked me out and I'm still thinking about it. I had to share.

I hate the way you cling to ignorance and pass it off as innocence

I love every Stark character and Tyrion.

but she has DRAGONS!!! it's as good as it gets! DRAGON PETS!!!
I don't like her and I've never liked her. She's pretentious. I don't care for her.
