Unless you weigh a massive amount then a 400lb / 184KG back squat (assuming its parallel to slightly below parallel - good form) is better than 99% of the population
How much do you weigh? Most people consider 2x bodyweight squat = strong
I started lifting weights a bit under 2 years ago when I realised that it wasn't healthy for a 20 year old man to struggle with a 50KG deadlift. Although when I started I made all the common mistakes and had to learn... (too much arms and no compounds) Physically, I was a perfect example of what happens when you play Diablo 2 your entire teenage life and never even walk to school. Never played a sport in my entire life and ate 1 small meal a day.
I experiment with my own progressive strength lifting plans now. I should have a good 400lb back squat done in at least 8 weeks. Although I should of been able to do one like 4 months ago. Noobed.

That's awesome dude! I would first like to start by saying I no longer back squat. I ruptured a disc in my lower back. So no more back squatting lol. I weigh around 180 give or take a few on any given day. When I'm competition ready I'm around 169. But ya, I come from a place of top athletes that make me look terrribblleeee lol.
A kid I grew up with playing tag, Mike Gillislee is a running back for Florida right now. The dude BENCHES 450. 50 more than my squat. I'm sure his squat is tremendous. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDMUyhNJhi8
@graphics- You don't want to get in it with me about training techniques. I know everything about plyo's dude. I did them for years lol. It's the foundation of my old highschools program.

Oh, have you Americans seen Blue Mountain State? Is it safe for me to go ahead and continuing assuming that its an accurate representation of college sport?
Got a phd, huh? That's sweet! But, you better have done those plyo conditioning sessions yourself!

You shouldn't compare yourself to guys who weigh twice as much as you and probably drink the juice
By juice I mean Grape juice. That shits potent
I go to a very... juicy gym. Quite a higher percentage there are juicy. So I never compare myself to guys whose juice drinkage is under question.
Nah, he's not twice my weight dude! Didn't you see the video?! He's a running back! He weighs around 205 210 I believe. About 6'2''? Somethin' like that. He's essentially a taller me in terms of stature.
I think I ruptured the disc running 11 mile trails.

Not really familiar with what people weigh based on their positions in that there american football.
I know nz rugby players can get up to 120KG (With many of them being about 108-110kg)... thats about 245-265lb for you people still living in the dark ages. Its metric time baby
And these guys don't even wear padding when they run into eachother
I'm terrible at keeping in routine if I do muscle exercises...I'll do exercises like for 2 weeks and then gradually decline into lazy bum mode in front of my pc.

That's seems right in my 20's when I was in my best shape I weighed 205 and was squatting 465, but like Umpa I've paid the price for lifting heavy and unfortunately from using bad form early on and learning later. I'm not big on giving advice or laying down omens because I don't like getting them, please excuse this one exception. Anything you injure in your teens and twenties and healed from, it will come back to haunt you in your 40's, joints, muscle tears, back issues etc. A shitty truth.

Don't remind me... I'm starting to feel it some mornings and I'm not even 30 yet. Spiral compound fracture for the win!! Or how about tearing most of my tendons in my ankle yays!!! Can I get an amen!!!

Playing Diablo since 97. I know nothing and having nothing good to say, I be a troll.
Well, off-topic. Very well. Playing Bushtarion - wiped the floor with a 'elitist'. Feeling a headache coming on. Listening to some dark-themed music. :/ And waiting for Diablo 3

I did remind you, sorry about that Those injuries will be a load of even more fun in 10 years. But it gets even better, if you tore even a muscle, those too will be nice and stiff in 10 years.
Marriage vs D3.
Seem people are terribly confused these days. Or maybe I'm not that into games after all, even when pouring in all those hours every few days..
@Slayer- Ice hockey injuries again?
Edit2- Aww..my tribute to Twistedpandora was deleted. So sad. Poor dude.

But BMS is like watching a documentary on the American way of life!
I wouldn't dare ruin my tender long distance running body with plyometrics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SMASHED EM BRO!!!
HAHAHAHAHAA
SOME OF THESE TACKLES ARE FUCKING RIDICULOUS! One of those guys went up in the air and did a 360, spinning around on a horizontal axis!
As a long distance runner though I would probably end up dead after taking one hit.
Just post a picture of yourself.

Anyway never mind that now. It's a moderated post so it cannot be discussed.
More importantly I need some sleep now. Hell of a week this one.
I just need to get that summer internship and I am all set for the holidays.
Man, the number of times I edited that post. Ya i do need sleep.
Night folks.
