I get one of these emails all the time. Due most likely to me having my email fairly easy to find out. But, yea... only one thing to say......
IT'S A TRAP!!!!!!
The part omitted is was a link to a fake blizzard login page. I know because the first time I got one i responded to it. The next time I logged into my account all my gold was gone. It was fixed thanks to Blizzards great support staff but, I learned my lesson.

The dead givaway is if they send you to a non-blizzard site.
I get dozens upon dozens upon dozens of them daily on my old WoW email account. (Switched email accounts to a more harder to guess one. Haven't had a single email.)
I switched emails for my WoW account like 3-4 years ago, and stopped playing like 2 years ago, and they STILL send those emails to my old email account on a daily basis.
While this is called phishing, not hacking, yeah... they are extremely transparent since most of them only even barely resemble the English language. It's pretty bad.
A lot of people don't dwell on the internet as much as some people do, and those people make easy targets for people who are phishing for your information. The best thing you can do to protect yourself is to observe the email itself, as stated by LauraDeathTwo. It is also wise to view the email account name itself; its easy to tell when its fake or not as it's not from an actual email source used by said company.
Another thing you could do is view the URL of the site they are sending you too. Often they will try to make the URL look as close to the norm as possible, but there will always be one character changed, or out of place in order to trick people who just give quick glances, rather than actually paying attention to where they are being sent.
I also can't think of many reasons why blizzard would send emails requiring you to login on their sites for whatever reason, that's not usually how any game company operates. If you know what company or topic the email is related too, its easy to tell what sounds suspicious and what sounds legit.
That's why you always have two have to email accounts. One for personal use and one that you use for porn and other shit... or it that just me, .
But seriously having two emails is the best idea, one personal, other BS.
Yea that's what I do. I use one email for games and other non-important online activity, and one for my personal life that is used for things like college or paypal.

I'd never fall for something like that, but I know quite a few nice people who think everyone in the world is honest and will believe almost anything.
