You want us to discuss this, but you gave us no foundation to start with except the fact that it pisses you off. Why does it piss you off? The cinematography? The acting? Script?

I thought it was good. I love how at the end the kid isn't whining and bitching about his daddy going to prison, he just says goodbye with this look on his face. I hate it when there are little kids crying, especially when they do it BAD, like in The Road, JESUS... Papaaa.. papaa... Papa.. PAPA!! wake up Paapa... Papa wake up.. papaaaaaaaaaaaa... That kid should have died.. I hope those people at the end ate him.

The entire premise. You can't fucking give us a movie showing some kind of support for a crazy nutjob taking an ER hostage so his son can get a transplant because he doesn't have the money to pay, even after the doctor wavered his fee. Worst of all? The people outside watching and cheering..what the fuck man?
Well, the whole premise of how the doctor would rather help those who have money, the rich, then when it came to John and his son, because of no money and no insurance the doctor wouldn't touch them or help them. Shows how screwed up the health care system is.
I agree that the cheering was uncalled for. The guy took a hospital hostage for crying out loud. Then comes the heart tugger, he was going to take his own life to save the life of his son. He dies, his son gets a heart.
I also think it was a movie for the advocation for organ donning. You have the car accident at the end of the movie, the kid finally gets his heart, father doesn't have to kill himself.
I wasn't a fan of the movie.

There was no preferential treatment shown on the doctor's part. He, at one point in the movie, even says that he doesn't even want to get payed for the performing the transplant. This whole "hospitals and doctors are money monsters" thing is getting really stale and isn't accurate in 95% of the cases. Sure, I'd like to see every poor person get proper healthcare, but we don't live in a utopic fantasy-ville. Hospitals need money to run. It costs a minimum of 350$ a day in the hospital I'm at if the person is doing nothing but sitting in his bed watching T.V. No X-Rays, no MRIs, no nothing.
Besides, why did they make it appear that the transplant took like, 2 fucking minutes to finish ? That shit takes a minimum of 4-5 hours if no complications arose.
It's a fun movie to watch if you put you logic and common sense aside.
