I need help, i keep receiving this email (i have never entered the link, just to be safe), and it tends to bother me.
I wanted to know if someone had ever had the same problem, just to know what you think.
This is the exact copy of the email.
Dear customer,
Due to suspicious activity, your Battle.net account has been locked. You tried to login your account too many times (403). We are concerned about whether your account has been stolen. In order to guarantee the legitimacy of your account, we need you follow these steps:
Step 1: Secure Your Computer
In the event that your computer has been infected with malicious software such as a keylogger or trojan, simply changing your password may not deter future attacks without first ensuring that your computer is free from these programs. Please visit our Account Security website to learn how to secure your computer from unauthorized access.
Step 2: Secure Your E-mail Account
After you have secured your computer, check your e-mail filters and rules and look for any e-mail forwarding rules that you did not create. For more information on securing your e-mail account, visit our Support page.
Step 3: Restore access to Your account
We now provide a secure link for you to verify whether you have taken the appropriate steps to secure the account, your computer, and your email address. Please follow this site to restore the access to your account: Link. (My pc warns me its a kind of phishing site)
If you still have questions or concerns after following the steps above, feel free to contact Customer Support at Link. (They are the same link, both are phishing sites, or my pc said that)
Sincerely,
The Battle.net Account Team

i removed the live links cause you know... let's not have people clicking them.
Now on topic it really sounds like a phishing attempt. Blizzard e-mails use your real name from the battle.net account, not "customer", "friend" etc etc.
there's an interesting post about that from Blizzard officials on battle.net.
Indeed, they find e-mails anywhere. In many cases the scammers also follow fansites and look for e-mails that could possibly be linked to battle.net accounts.
Surprisingly, gmail filters the scam mails quite well. But even those that come through are very easy to notice. In most cases the phishing mails use url that say they're directing you to the battle.net site but if you look closely they lead you to quite different sites.
also, one way to feel quite safe is to use a blizzard authenticator (or mobile authenticator if you have a smartphone - that last one is free and makes things better). It's not too easy to crack that, especially if you don't follow the "instructions" of the phishing mails.
Just try to log on to battle.net. If your account is indeed suspended, go and reset your password. With the use of authenticators it's not that likely, though.
They send it to anyone with a battle.net account, not just WoW.
My old battlenet account was linked with a different email and I doubt that it is still around since I have not logged in for over 7 years. I do not even remember the account name.

The email I get is for my name. I never gave my name when I created the Battle-net account, I used random letters for the name of the account and that was before you can link any other games and so-forth. The account was only for D2 battlenet. The lat time I played I do not think the friends feature was even implemented.

Oh my God this happened to me about a month ago with my WoW account. I kept changing the pass and it didn't fucking matter, so I just deleted my credit card stuff on it and left it at that. No more WoW, no more emails. If it was a hacker that had my pass or something, I hope he dies in the most painful of ways
I get an email sometimes about my World of Warcraft account and I'm like, "I have a World of Warcraft account?"
And it's all this legit sounding stuff for a second and then you see the link they tell you to click is like worldofworcrft.com
LOL
I have gotten these notifications "sort of" at work only the security system sends me an email notification saying that I received an email from "WoW" that may contain virus or some such explanation and was blocked - if you want to view the email you may go to this link etc... so one day I decided to look at it and it was worcraft - lol.
I don't have a WoW account either.

Check the link (mouse over it, see the status bar), if it isn't blizzard site. Then it's spam

Like it was stated earlier that Blizzard would not be sending an email in regards to this.

Regardless, you should still quit it.
