I realized i never made a thread for myself in the introduction forum.
Somehow I feel better making one.
Back in high school one of my friends introduced me to diablo 2 and i was instantly addicted. I'm sure I had logged over a thousand hours of diablo game play in less than a year just when I first started playing back in the day. As time went on, Id get bored of it and then come back to it later on. Its one of those games where you play it so much and you look at your other friend and say "I don't want to see you or this game for a year" and then a week later you come back to it like "hey I think we should play again"
As time went on I was going to college and my priorities were becoming much more focused on getting my degree (electrical engineering with an aerospace focus) and now I have a lot less time to play (and post in these forums). I do make it a point of logging on almost everyday here on diablofans and try to make a post here and there. If I was still in high school I'd have thousands of posts by now I'm sure. None the less I will try to increase my post count. I don't like to post just to post, I'd rather make what i have to say worth wile and legitimate.
Yeah, I never got around to making an introduction either. A very belated welcome to you though.
I swore off Diablo 2 several times. I'd play for several hundred hours over the course of a few months and then decide I was so tired of it that I should quit and never touch the game again. Of course 6 months to a year later I'd pick it back up and be amazed at how fun it was all over again.
I'm currently in one of those spans of being tired of it, but I assume I'll play it again before D3 comes out, especially if the patch has anything interesting to me and fixes some of my gripes with the current version.
Give, expecting nothing thereof. ------------ BoD - Come have some fun! Folks will always come and go, so enjoy them while they're meant to be in your life.
Welcome to the club. I never did one, either They're too "look at me! look at me!" for me. Or at least that's what I thought back then.
Can't believe you've only been here about seven months, though.
Welcome (late) to the community
Me either and for the same reasons as you. It's way too flashy for me ^_^. I like to remain in the shadows, quietly listening... patiently waiting for the opportune moment to strike ;).
did anyone else noticed that a lot of admins and other flashy-color-names users haven't done their intros?
i never did my intro either, can i have a flashy color on my name??
I did not one intro, but two intros. Lol. I did an introduction thread in December 2007, then I left and then came back and did a re-introduction thread in January 2008.
I also don't think it's flashy. An introduction thread that says hey everyone, I'm new here doesn't seem like a bad thing to me personally.
