Hii there diablofans community. So, I'll try to keep this brief. I've been lurking on this site for a long time now, long before Diablo 3 had ever been announced, making sure to keep up with all the updates and discussion concerning this game. It's been fun just listening but I decided now that I'd actually like to stop listening and start speaking a bit!
Anyways, I'm a bit of a Diablo purist (so you can imagine how I feel about certain aspects of the art direction) although funnily enough I started with Diablo 2 before I went on to play the original. My primary interest/passion in real life is classical music and that's why I'm going to study it next year. So yeah, there's a little bit about me, I'll try to post a lot. Oh, and could someone please explain to me what a tag is? I"m a bit new to this whole forum business. Thanks.
It's...well... The tags we use here for styling and formatting posts and such are called BB code tags. You can read about them here.
As for classical music, I'm not a genius but that is what I like to listen to. Well, not exactly just classical, baroque and such, too. Well, you can tell I'm not smart with this, lol. Anyway, my favorites that I listen to a lot are Gustav Holst's Planets Suite, Mozart's Requiem, ah... My memory is shot atm.
Welcome to the forums :D.
Always good when long time lurkers finally come out of the shadows lol, guess you're familiar with most of the more active posters.
Haha, yeah, a lot of people started on D2. D1 was pretty massive, but didn't get as much time in the spotlight as D2 did.
As for tags, they're basically ways to show what the thread is all about, for example, for this thread, you could tag it as "introduction", "welcome", or "first post". Something along those lines.
Not everyone uses them, but they're handy.
Anywho, welcome again, hope to see your posts around the forums :D.

Well, it's all considered classical, but there is also a classical period which falls under the Classical Music umbrella.
Medieval: 800-1450
Renaissance: 1450-1600
Baroque: 1600-1750 <------ my favorite (Bach, Vivaldi, Haydn, Handel... quite a few others)
Classical: 1750-1820 <------ my next favorite (Beethoven, Mozart)
Romantic: 1820-1910 <------ I really only listen to Brahms from this era
20th Century (or 'Modern' as it has been coined since I left school): 1910-1945
Contemporary: 1945-present
Hehe, I'm glad to see we've got some people on this board who know a thing or two about classical music. As for the whole naming of "classical music" thingy, Rykker was right to say that it can be used as an umbrella term for all periods of "art music" (or whatever you want to call this kind of music, people nowadays often debate the use of the term "classical music") or as Seth pointed out indirectly as well, music from the Classical period in music history. And don't worry Seth about what you perceive as ignorance, the fact that you specified the music of which eras you like shows you're less ignorant about this type of music than many others. Thanks for the thoughtful welcomes guys!

Um... just sayin' *ahem* (sorry)
Welcome aboard Musica.
Nah, that's why I had the "you can tell I don't really know what I'm talking about" disclaimer. I don't mind at all.
