I'm trying to get through D2 with my buddy. I've never actually finished the game all the way through without some level of cheating. Then again, I never knew enough to look up successful builds....
That still holds true, Vram on your card is a main factor in how high of a resolution you can go. For example, the GTX 580s come in both a 1.5g, and 3g version. When benchmarking Metro on 2560p displays, the 3g version preforms much better than the 1.5g, yet at 1920p they both preform the same.
The more and more I see the FPS drop of the current gen cards from 1920 to 2560 the more I feel I'm just going to stick to 1920x1080.. Unless I could compare them in person, I'm not just I want to risk it.
Have you ever tried splitting your displays for games?
