If I could, I'd get a Razer DeathAdder, but it's not wireless. It's $60 and I tried it at a nearby electronics store and I really liked the feel to it. If I wasn't confined to sitting on my floor while I use my comp, I would totally buy it.

inb4 Magistrate locking this saying it is resolved.
On a more serious note, I would not suggest wireless. You never know when it decides to be faulty in a serious gaming match. Other than that, any USB optical mouse will probably do... make sure you buy it new and read reviews on it.
You're saying "on a more serious note" a lot. You should leave that to me, brochacho.
On a more serious note, the G9 is pretty badass. It comes with these weight things that you can put in or take out of the mouse according to your preference.
Pfft, fuck off, I was the one that pioneered bullshitting in a post, then switching to "Seriously though."
Seriously though, you should definitely go for a Logitech mouse, there's really no debate about the brand. Don't get one with all that snappy bullshit either (extra buttons, ergonomic crap, ect).

I bought a G9 and haven't looked back. The good thing is the sensitivity settings. You can perk them up or down and get them perfect. I also have it so I change on the fly between regular FPS play and sniping, for example. But yeah, don't get a wireless mouse. The delay WILL be noticeable.

Dude, just get the G9..seriously. All the options it has, all the modifications you can do it, hardware and software stuff is ridiculously good. It's worth whatever you have to pay for it.
I got it from my brother's friend, who had it for about 2 years. I've had for 2 years, myself, and it's still top notch. Haven't encountered any problems whatsoever.

My apologies. Unlike my name, I will change that.
Potatoes and cheese, stay away from expensive gaming mice. If you are going for them, set your budget to $50... if any, get the old Logitech G5 if you can somehow. Otherwise, get a $30 optical mouse.
Unless gaming is a SERIOUS passion. In that case, go for the more expensive stuff and you should be good until they come out with an entire new type of mouse. I have some dumb expensive Razor mouse, but this is because of my poor desk. Otherwise I would not of bought such an expensive mouse.
