Nice PC Nektu! Everything in your system looks up to date and well balanced. Ram speeds are lower than I'd want, but depending on the Latency they could still have high performance...I'm picky, sorry. :rolleyes: I've read that the q8300 is a breeze to get to 3.0Ghz as well. I still need a better video card and a bigger monitor, when funds allow. 9600GSO only overclocks so far. But the 5770 and a 24" are both soon to be on their way.
Thank you. I am very happy with the way it has performed as of lately. My wife is the one who knows about her comps, and she picked this one out for me for Christmas. It does what we expect it to do and serves it purposes. As for the RAM speeds, meh, it's alright.

That looks like a nice piece of equipment, mate! I'm sure she'll treat you well, as long as you don't keep looking for the cup holder.
I'm working on building a dream machine for myself (not necessarily for Diablo III, but for gaming all around), and since price isn't an issue... here is what I'm looking at:
Case (Gotta have a good case):
~~~~CoolerMaster HAF 922 ATX Mid-Tower
RAM:
~~~G.skill Ripsaw series 4 x 4GB RAM
~~~~~~PC3 12800 DDR3 1600
~~~~~~9-9-9-24-2N Timing
Cooling:
~~~Corsair Cooling Hydro series CWCH50-1 120mm High Performance CPU cooler
Power Supply:
~~~XCLIO GREATPOWER 1000W ATX12V
~~~~~~Fans: 1 x 140mm fan
~~~~~~Main Connector: 20+4Pin
~~~~~~+12V Rails: 4
~~~~~~PCI-Express Connector: 3 x 6-Pin, 3 x 8-Pin
~~~~~~SATA Power Connector: 8
And there you have it. That's my dream machine. I've already gotten about half of it together... I'm just waiting on my Tax Refund check to get the other half, then I'll be in business. (( The bitch was getting all four GTX285s, since nVidia won't have anymore chips out until August, so they say [due to, I think, the launch of the 3xx and 4xx series] ))
Essentially, I want to finally build a computer to eat Crysis's face.... and not have to truly upgrade it for a while.
I also forgot to add the 5x 500GB Western Digital Enterprise HDD (RAID 5)and 1x Patriot 320GB SSD... which is going to be about another 600ish USD.
Sure, it's ridiculous, but being able to play two games at once is... delicious. Plus, for my job, I do a lot of Maya rendering and Solid Works drawings, so having something that can render using Mental Ray and still kick is a good thing. Multipurpose!
Well, I figured if I post essentially the best-of-the-best, you can compare and see how close you are! Your new compy, for the price, is epic in many ways. Imagine if you're as stupid as I, and went out to spend $5000 USD to get a computer that's the best in all areas, but the % of increase is.... not that much difference in comparison. This is why Techies like me have the biggest toys, but are impatient. Your computer is probably BIS two to three years ago.... and two to three years ago, would've cost you about 3-4k. You're smart (or she's smart).
Needless to say, you have an epic computer there. It'll last you a many good years. I'm sure that you'll have no problems with that guy for at least 5 years (providing you don't let a parrot eat the cables).
Yes.... yes it would. Thankfully though, I've a lot of experience, and I work in the field... so it works out more in my favor, yes? That, and everything will be under warranty XD
