Not the buttons..those don't really change anything. The fact that there's no more Music Board, Movies board, and everything now is situated differently from the way it was..SUCKS
While I completely agree with you all that the layout of the forum, as well as the spam idea, is rediculous, as well as how awesome the new buttons are, it's simply something we have to live with. Doesn't look like it's going to change back any time. :/
I think it's pretty good. The last few weeks I checked the movies and music forums, not to mention the book forum, there were only a handful of threads being posted in anyway. 'Top 5 metal songs', 'anyone listed to electronic' and 'that song stuck in your head' hardly merit a forum of their own.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

It's kind of more bothersome for me because I have to 1) get used to everything being in a new place and 2) dig through a bunch of other topics in the new Off Topic forum to find a thread on what I want to read. I guess it'll grow on me or something.
The buttons, however, are much nicer. I hope their theme gets incorporated in to the rest of the layout eventually <3
I really don't understand how removing the "other games" forum, slapping games discussions into the off-topic forum, as well as moving all movies/music discussions to tags makes it ANY easier to find stuff.
Now, instead of having everything sorted, we've got mounds of topics within the off-topic forum.
I would have much preferred a "mixed media" forum, or something, in which movies, music, and games could have resided.
But oh well, apparently tags makes things easier to find....

While I don't mind most of the changes, I do agree with everyone else about the spam posts. There were some posts in the old spam section that definitely should not have counted toward post count.
Just thank god the "Post to 1 million" thread got deleted.
Anyways.
There is nothing we can do to change this, this has been set forth as how it will be, and it seems to be in my opinion turning out well so far. So I'm gonna close this thread.

I'm in that same sinking boat right now.

What I don't like though is how all the previous spam threads now count for posts. Weak.

I actually really like the new buttons, they've got a really nice look about them.
But yeah... spam posts counting is the main thing I've been up in arms about.
Posts that actually have a point, and contribute to discussion, should have more value than random crap.
the amount of spam posts in the certain thread is just too much
but on the other hand the new buttons makes the forum look more formal/modern lol

WHAT?!
I'LL BE BACK, MUST CHECK THIS OUT.
Gotta add this in, so it doesn't edit out my caps.
Need to fully express how shocked I am right now.
edit: My god... you're right.
Who the hell decided to do that?

I'm very hungry, though.
