yeah im sure diablo 2 will work. the problem im having is that it wont accept the downloader program. which downloads the game. so i am going to have to get that from my friend. who has it on his flash drive. and i can just transfer the files over.
Its worked for me. the only reason im not downloading is cuz i dont got a mouse no more stupid macs dont hve right click and its a pain to be in a fight and then have to put two fingers on click take them off to move closer or away...just soo annoying. But the downloader worked for me.

The problem was my laptop video driver, My computer just updated itself while i was at work. I get back and the Aero is working now and i love it. haha.
I have a question: I am an IST major and so I have free access to a copy of Windows 7. Currently, my main computer runs Vista. Would I be able to easily uninstall Vista and install 7 without losing already installed programs? Some of them have taken many, many hours to download off the internet, like Runes of Magic and some other things, and I have a lot of files that supersede anything on a moderately-priced USB flash drive right now.
As Ent1ty said, you can't upgrade with the OEM version so you might want to check which version it is you have free access to.
Actually what i meant, just to clarify things, is that you cant upgrade from windows 7 RC to THE REAL WINDOWS 7. Vista to the real 7 or even the RC7 is perfectly fine just not RC to real 7. and even then i had the folder of windows old just everything was set back to factory defaults and no wprograms were on my new copy of windows.

For those like me interested in getting the cheaper OEM option:
[...] [Y]ou can also pick up an OEM license that's designed for system builders. These OEM copies offer most of the features found in a full retail version, but the license can't be transferred. Once it's installed on a computer and activated, it's locked to that hardware. You won't get any support, and you'll have to perform a clean install, not an upgrade. The upshot is that OEM copies of Windows are typically cheaper.
Newegg has begun taking pre-orders for Windows 7 OEM licenses, and they're significantly cheaper than the full retail versions. In fact, they're even cheaper than the upgrade editions of Windows 7. Windows 7 Home Premium OEM will set you back $110, while Professional costs $140 and Ultimate will run you $190. That's compared with $200, $300, and $320 respectively for the full retail versions.
Newegg is also offering a few bucks off of each OEM license for customers who place orders by October 20th. Windows 7 will be officially launched on October 22nd.
well, i havent seen anything so far that says windows 7 rc or windows 7 beta version. its just been windows 7. so......yeah.
The Rc version has been out since like the begining of summer anything thta your hearing about august after is the actual release version of Windows 7 the exact one that comes in the box.
