I know I am. I am starting this thread to see what other are hoping to see at BlizzCon and what your expectations are.
As far as Diablo III is concerned, I am hoping for a ton of new information. I expect for the announcement of at least 1 new character hopefully 2.
Also, I expect for them to expand on the Act's and which cities we are going to be able to visit though out the game, or if it will be limited to just 1 city per Act.
Please feel free to post your expectations, wishes, or just post about your excitement.
Just posting to let you know I decided to move this to Blizzard General Discussion since it's about the BlizzCon. Also, would you mind quick resizing or removing one of the images in your signature? I'm not sure how it shows up on your screen, but I have a regular 1024x768 monitor and it's a little tall.
Hell yeah I'm excited. I ordered the Internet Stream as soon as they announced it. I'm going to attempt to record the D3 coverage off my computer. As far as the info I hope/expect to see:
A new class (I doubt both will debut)
New areas
New monsters
More on runes
More on other gameplay systems (talisman anyone?)
A little bit on story
Hopefully a new gameplay video/videos
More skills (would like to see what else WD has)
I'm expecting a lot from BlizzCon this year, but not really for Diablo3.
Maybe I'll get flamed a bit posting this here, but I'm expecting a LOT more news about StarCraft2, Battle.net 2.0, and the new WoW expansion, then Diablo3.
What I think is that BlizzCon2009 will be StarCraft&Battle.net2.0 blizzcon, with a few minor announcements everywhere about their other games/projects. And then, BlizzCon2010 will be Diablo&WoW:Cataclysm(new expansion) blizzcon, and some minor announcements on projects, like maybe more details about an the upcoming StarCraft2 expansion, and I THINK that we'll also have a sneak peak to their new 'Next-gen MMO' project, but that is only me speculating.
Of course, Diablo3 is in development and we know it, but I think Blizzard will announce tons of things in details for SC2 and Battle.net2.0, since it was delayed because of battle.net, but the game is 'ready', so they'll probably flood us with announcements since it's getting really close, and they're probably extremely excited about this game too!
So yeah, I'll be watching the BlizzCon stream, eager for Diablo3 news, but I'm expecting a lot more news about StarCraft2, Battle.net 2.0, and probably a bit about WoW:Cataclysm(some really minor announcements like, what events we'll be following, etc.).
Concerning Diablo3, I think we'll have 1 more class announced, with a Gameplay video for this class, and probably 1-2 other gameplay videos, narrated with explanations about some features, showing some improvements or changes compared to the one from BlizzCon2008.

If you can't amaze people with your intelligence, confuse them with your bullshit.
I tend to disagree, but I could be wrong. I just can't see too much more information coming out about Star Craft II. There is already battle reports and so forth, but as far as new information, I don't think they want to give to much away.
Battle Net 2.0 though, know I can see a ton of information coming out regarding that. But I expect a far bit of information about Diablo III and of course the announcement of the Next-Gen MMO.
Also, I am expecting a Teaser starting Monday morning.
Keep it up guys, I am interested to hear everyone's thoughts!
I am excited for any Diablo 3 news in general. No matter what they announce info wise I will be happy with. Unfortuntaley, I am sure Blizzard will direct a lot of it's attention to another WoW expansion, in which, I am sorry to say I could care less about. Blizzard is a parent of 4 games, WoW/Warcraft, StarCraft and Diablo. However, it seems like it gives to much attention to one of its "kids" (WoW) more so then any other of its family. Flame me all you want...but I cannot wait for the WoW dynasty to be over with.
I don't think Blizzard expected half of the outcome that WOW produced. It took the addiction of Everquest to a whole new level. I mean I enjoyed WOW, but it was short lived, I became bored of it quickly and found myself playing DII and DI all over again. I still play them today.
Again, I am also very excited for any Diablo III info they present to us. But I really want some more story line, because above all Diablo has always had the most compelling story line. I am also very interested to hear more music.
I'm looking forward to some more technical information about the game. Such as some more info on just how item drops are going to work, what system they are planning to have a more stable and newbie friendly game economy, and of course more info on the classes and their skills and resource systems.
Lets not forget about d2 either. We haven't really seen much at all on the 1.13 front besides news of delays. I'm personally hoping that they release at least a partial patch-note listing for 1.13 but I don't really see that being very probable.
I think they will focus more on Diablo III and some StarCraft II and also the new MMO. I expect for the new MMO to be announced near the end, or sometime on Saturday.
I would like to hear a Christmas release date for Diablo III next year.
