Situation:
I live in Ciudad Autonoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina. I would go to C?rdoba where my family have a land sorrounded by the mountains. It's really difficult to access walking, and the total of hours spent in the trip its about 14 hours.
Team:
Best friend, his girlfriend and my girlfriend (assuming that my family is safe)
STRATEGY:
Having knowledge of the terrain (land), I can provide myself of water (from the river) and food (hunting and fishing).
With the axe I would lumber (i think that was the verb) the trees, mantaining wood to keep me warm and manufacture certain weapons (spears) to hunt (and not waste the ammunition of the rifle) and make several traps. Also, the whirlwind capability!
With the shovel I would dig lots of traps, and transform the land at my will. Also to help different kinds of seeds (recolected by the women while we hunt and do most of the manual work) to make a garden and selfprovide us with vegetables.
The bike would help me doing the patrols around the land, and make a very fast way of communication between the watchtowers (a very primitive construction) in case of zombie-invasion.
The watchtowers would provide us a high recognition capability and also serve as a first stronghold, slowing the zombie swarm.
The rifle just as a defensive weapon against the zombies (dont waste the ammunition! :P)
The knife as a tool the sharp the sticks, and several other uses. As an EXTREMELY rare situation, as a close combat weapon, in case of losing my beloved axe!
I would have to live in a forest with a river with edible animals and plants.... have an axe, combat knife, sledgehammer and shovel.... with that you can make shelter, tools for catching food (bow and arrow, fishing sticks, etc...) and do pretty much anything. sledgehammer is mainly because i love the idea of fightin zombies with sledgehammer.
so... you would burn down your forest with molotovs?
It's not a forest "per se". I'm assuming that the zombies are coming from the less "forested" part of the land. The another area its almost unreacheable.
I second that. but before I start that I will do the Thriller dance xD
:offtopic:Almost done with The Zombie Survival Guide, I know this thread is old but once i am done reading I plan on posting my plan
I would probably hole up in a hut with wooden board and outlines of guns, see if that works out.
Cracked usually have some good articles but never very accurate if you know what i mean
