I know this is the obvious argument but, my dad is 50 and my mom is 47. It doesn't sound weird right? I don't see why people make these distinctions based on age when they are just doing what comes natural at that age. I know several 18 y/os that get pussy that is as old as their moms, nobody criticizes them. Best advice I can give you, is to get your head straight, dont second guess, and do what you think is right.
It's not based on age, it's based on your ability to make decisions, and there are very few 12 year-olds who can make proper decisions. I know that even as a 14 year old who thinks he knows everything, things that I'm so convinced in will seem wrong to me in a few years, but I just don't know what they are, so I can't stop them now.
Seeing as love is defined by most teenagers, and preteens, as just sex, I think that you should ask him what he really sees in her. In all honesty, I wouldn't let anyone I only knew for about 2 years go out with my sister. Albeit, they have their freedom of choice, but I'd give him hell.
I just want to point out that just because two kids are dating, doesn't mean they will have sex. I'm dissapointed that most people here seemed to make that assumption.
Still, nobody in high school should be dating someone in elementary school with more than a two year difference in between. I'd say after two people are over 14,15 they're old enough to make their own decisons (whether they make bad ones or not).

Not really, just that if you like someone you're fine having sex with them, you're also fine not, but it does feel good, so you obviously want to, I mean, why the hell not? As long as you use protection.
I think Equinox and Murderface both are right in what they're saying. Kids at 12 are not biologically developed and they aren't prepared to make those decidions. So they should start listening to their superiors more often.
I'm more interested in knowing why he is thinking that way, why do some minds not make distinctions, and what IS right and wrong? Does it have a brand in our brains?
He's thinking that way because that's how his neurons been aligned for the past years. And, he was probably never classically conditioned against such behavior. Never told why would it be unacceptable by us and what consequences may that cause, and the importance of those consequences.
In simpler terms: he's not wise.
