I went ahead and ordered some new parts for the computer I'm building, and no, it's not built specifically for Diablo III. I've been saving money for quite a while, and it's a great upgrade from my current setup (which can be found in the computer specs thread here).
I've ordered:
Intel E8400
ASUS P45 Motherboard
Antec Three Hundred
Antec 650w Power Supply
Patriot Viper 4GB DDR2-1066MHZ
Will order:
ASUS ATi HD4850 (I have a temporary X1300). Patriot Viper 4GB DDR2-1066MHZ (ordered)
Of course I'll post pictures when I'm done with this.

Everything looks good. I wouldn't have bought an Asus, but that's just me.
Look into getting a HD4870.
I'm actually thinking about an HD4870 because I had intentionally planned to build with a tight budget, but since I haven't purchased a graphics card yet, I'm saving up.
As for the ASUS, why not?
Gigabyte's good, but I've heard that ASUS is too.
A-bit is not releasing anymore BIOS updates.
Others don't come to mind.

I know you get what you pay for, but there was a $35 discount if you bought the motherboard with the E8400, along with the fact that the motherboard had a 24 hour sale which brought it down to $99. Subtract the discount and you could say it was $65 + the price of processor.

Awesome, I assume it will be ready to tackle Diablo III when it comes out. My computer will actually end up very similar once it's through it's upgrades (not that its bad now, it can run Crysis on medium/high with good stability but the more power the better.)

Asus has become such a popular choice that their actual quality has gone downhill. It's not bad stuff, it's just not as good as the others IMO.

Will work on getting inside pictures, as I'm still re-arranging the wires.
