I have decided to go with a new computer for Diablo III instead of fixing my old one, think this machine will be d3 capable?
My friend built this for me, and said right now, it's on of the best bang for your buck desktop's he has seen, what do you think.
Specs:
CASE: Thermaltake Armor Super tower w/25cm side fan.
CPU: Intel E8400 @3.0ghz
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD4850
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-EP45-DSR
RAM: 4GB Crucial Tracer Kit PC2-6400 (ddr2)
HDD: Western Digital 640GB SATAII 7200rpm
DVD: LG 22x w/ Lightscribe
PSU: Corsair HX 620w
OS: Vista Premium 64 bit
Do you think this desktop is good as is or should I change anything? I am open to all suggestions and comments as I want a PC capable of handling Diablo III. Thanks.
Blizzard is known for making games that don't require PCs as good as its rivals. So, I think your PC is a little over for it.
I think it's better to wait for it like a guy here is doing: he created a bank account, deposited $600 and is putting another $90 per month (or something like that) to buy D3 and a new pc on the game's launch.
I'll do something like that. Also, I'll move to a cave until I finish the game, so I won't get any spoiler.
The game is one-two years away. Even though your PC is probably much more than capable, you should have waited a year or two so that it would be even less expensive then!

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.

Rise and rise again, until lambs become lions
Should have built one.
